Also, im a HUUUGE fish and fishing lover and im currently studying to become a marine biologist. Im focusing on sharks and invasive species (2 very similar topics, i know) and id love to help you out with videos! I have all kinds of ideas that i think youd enjoy!

    Sturgeon are amazing critters! My dad used to fish them for sport, and I think he threw them back in because I don't recall him ever cleaning one. I recall a local news story years ago about a woman who lost her arm to a sturgeon.

    • @CJM-rg5rt
      @CJM-rg5rt 8 месяцев назад

      They are amazing but I HIGHLY doubt one ever ripped a person's arm off or even attacked anyone. The only injuries I could find was from them leaping out of the water and accidentally landing on people.

    Finally people are talking about the Murray Cod, they can be well over a meter in length, it theoretically can get to about 2 meters, in my state the biggest either come from lakes or the Goulburn river, one particular lake in Victoria ( lake Eildon ) is well known for its massive Murray Cod.
    Thanks mate for talking about this awsome fish, its a fish many Aussies spend their lives catching just for the chance to catch the meter long cod

    • @maxl3189
      @maxl3189 3 года назад

  • @SourWolf085
    @SourWolf085 3 года назад +3

    Sturgeon are crazy fish to hook into because when you're jigging off the bottom for walleye sometimes you hit a sturgeon. It almost always breaks the line and sometimes they jump out of the water then you can really see how massive the fish is. They're a pretty incredible living fossil. You must release them due to them being protected and you could get in trouble for just having them on the boat after you catch one.

    Also i think they have been found engulfing kaspian seals, which is horrifying. That a Seal can be sucked into its mouth, whole💀
