      Rays do get massive indeed, but their size is usually in their width and weight, rather than their length.

    A couple years ago I was lucky enough to go to the Georgia Aquarium. Seeing Manta Rays and Whale Sharks in person was amazing!! I sat there in awe for hours just staring at their majesty ☺️

      Okinawa Aquarium in Japan has the Manta Rey and Whale shark in a massive tank with other fish too. They have other massive fish there too but this is going back to 2007 so I’m sure it’s still the same to a degree.

    Recommendation for the next largest saltwater fishes:
    1.) Giant sea bass
    2.) Coelacanth - (seel-uh-kanth) pronounciation.
    3.) Bluefin tuna
    4.) Humphead wrasse

    Phenomenal video as always, glad the manta ray and Goliath grouper got some love. I know we’ve covered basically the largest ones out there, but I think some honorable mentions would be the sailfish and tiger sharks. Maybe some other days as well. I’d love to see a vid of largest marine animals in general, such as whales, giant squid and octopus, etc. anything you release is worth watching so can’t complain! Thanks man

    When I was a kid; I saw the largest atlantic blue marlin caught to date off the coast of south carolina and at least four of me could have laid next to it and still had room. Her eye was the size of my hand.

    Sharks are taking it on the snout. Well, as are all fish. The only fishing I do is catch and release unless it is an invasive species. Hope for the best. In the northern hemisphere we are going into the autumn and winter seasons. It's a great time to trap tilapia at the fossil steam plants. It's worth the price of a rental boat and fishing license. I guess any warm water outlet would work.

    Goliath groupers have been known to eat invasive lionfish, but it is not known if they are immune to the lionfish's venom or if they eventually die from ingesting them.

    Uuuuuhhh no. Many fish snd sharks have 3 pairs of fins plus gills which is not an appendage. For example some sharks have a pair of pectoral fins, pelvic fins , anal fins, gills and on top of that CLASPERS!!!! MAKES 5 PAIRS OF APPENDAGES FOR SOME SHARKS AND 3 OR 4 FOR OTHERS....

      Very unlikely that would happen, but if so, Great white. Bulls are more aggressive but Great Whites have the advantage in size.
