- A compilation of bad driver behaviour that I've recently witnessed in and around Cape Town.
This video is not to identify individual drivers, but rather to show how bad the situation is on our roads.

I live in Cape Town and didn't find any of this even remotely unfamiliar.
This is nothing, we see worse than this every day!
Our jay walking days have been over for 3 decades already.
Minibus taxis should all be banned unless the owner is a registered taxpayer, the vehicles are inspected every 6 months for roadworthiness and the driver has a valid, legal licence and a clear police record.
why should they ban them we use them as blacks and coloured people

Due to the taxis getting away with this behavior it has spilled over to the general motorist. Everyday more and more people drive like this and the traffic departments solution is more speed cameras and road blocks. You hardly ever see a patrol car. Lately provincial traffic started driving with their emergency roof lights on because people complained their is no visible policing of the roads. They say this make them more visible. Idiots. Visible policing means patrol cars doing visible policing like pulling reckless drivers off the road and patrolling the roads.
When u adhere to roadsigns and markings it appears as if you cannot drive because most drivers ignore it!!!!lol

Hi Nicki. Legally I don't have to do it. I personally don't feel comfortable identifying vehicles or people in these videos. I just want to share my everyday experience of how bad the situation is.

Why must the truck driver do that at 2:35? That's why most of them cause accidents and we had more than 3 truck accidents in Paarl alone.
That is at the intersection of the N1 and N7. When you come off the N1 the vehicles on the right has to go to the left lane and the vehicles on the left has to go over to the right lane. It can catch you off guard, but this is one of the weirdest situation where people actually behave extremely well.
@@JJSmith1100 I know that place well, and it is strange that people do behave ok there only.
That's not the truck driver necessarily doing it on purpose, he's braking, and his brakes are probably adjusted/worn uneven, causing one set of wheels to lock up. Happens all the time, and the poor trucker can get fined for this.
bro lets install train horns and paintball guns out the grill! ooooo people can drive so crap hey.
or install bull bars all around our cars and join them 😂 There's just no patience amongst drivers.
The taxis are absolutely the pits.

Minibus taxi drivers are best, they take you home on time, except the less experienced ones, those ones are dangerous.
