What a beautiful place this (the gorge) is!!!!! I hope you had fun with "nagashi-somen". The entire place is so wonderfully verdant, and I would love to visit the area! Even better, I just realized that there is Part 2 to this vlog! I will watch it!

We walked up those steps from where the boats are up to the Shrine. It was hard work but worth the effort.

Yes. Although, I'm told that it's not the real Chicken Nanban from a friend from Miyazaki, where the cousine supposedly originated. But was close enough, he said. ;p
If It's from Japan, then it's probably delicious anyway! :)
