The reason why Lucifers rebellion failed was because he was doing it for the wrong reasons, God's plan was to make Lucifer his successor from the beginning, but he needed to teach Lucifer a lesson and burdened him in hell, and made him rule over it to both gather the experience and to carry the burden of punishment, God made Chloe not as a gift for Lucifer, but made her to see him for who he truly is, because only then could he love, and through that love change into a person worthy of being God, and now Lucifer can be a better God, quite literally Lucifer becomes God when he admits his love to Chloe and sacrafices himself to save her life, it's all quite poetic really if you ask me

If you think about it... Theirs personalities are so similar! Lucifer was usually that one who was embarasing others and completly without shame. But now he is the one who spent more time on earth between humans and he knows how these things works first hand. Also they are basicly like Lucifer and Chloe in season 1 but Lucifer is "Chloe" and God is "Lucifer" in this situation. And I'm here for it! 😂😂😂 amazing work btw... 😍
Yeah that’s what I was thinking, Lucifer is the most similar in personality to god. It makes sense that god would want him to rule, ironically he relates to Lucifer more than his other children.
But in reality Lucifer is the most hated creature by God.

Tom Ellis and Dennis Haysbert are such a great father son combo. They are so sarcastic and caring but have complete opposite tones when they are emotional.
