    some information as to the nature of the wood, glue used and finish used. Epoxy, oil, varnish, wax? what?

      Titebond 3 wood glue, food grade mineral oil, and beeswax

    So good job! But please never make adjustments to you sliding sled and materials while the blade is running. One mishap and, your hand, workpiece or clamp was flying in pieces around you… ⚠️

    I don't understand why you did what you did, how was inserting thin slices of wood repairing it? Looks good though, reminds me of a brick wall. :)

      There were cracks propagating through the edges. I cut out the cracks and filled them with new pieces of maple. I should have explained my steps!
