    Awesome flying! If you get a chance could you do a quick video of the quad on the bench? Or post a picture slide show. I was curious how everything mounted up with that frame. Especially the flight controller. Did you have to rotate the flight controller 45 degrees and adjust the rotation in Betaflight? Just curious what it looked like.

      Yep I had to change the flight controller orientation for it to work in this frame, I dont recall the exact setting I landed on, I think it was -45 deg rotation, in babyhawks the board is positioned in a "diamond" position, where on this AOS frame its set in square with the center-line of the frame. Try different orientations until it looks right on the 3d rendered model when you first connect to betaflight, easiest way I found to adjust that setting! I might be able to make a short video going over that in the future, its a busy time in life right now so I'm struggling to find time to fart around with making videos :)

    Lol no way. I order my frame yellow. With the gold standoffs. Lol. I see in your picture is the same. Lol. But I haven’t built it. I still need to order an fc. I thought mine would be enough. But it doesnt fit. So. Hopefully in the next week

      Nice! I felt compelled to do all gold everything when I saw it was possible 🤣 it's pretty cool looking imo! Were the different pieces of your frame different shades of gold? The arms and bottom/top plate are different shades of gold carbon for me. cncdrones was kind enough to send me pieces in the correct shade to make it all match, i thought that was nice of them.

    How do you like the frame overall?

    • @ryswe
      @ryswe  Год назад

      It's a good frame, pretty easy to put together and decent quality carbon cuts. The colored carbon comes in different shades which I found kinda lame for a "premium" frame, I would expect higher quality hardware as well. I feel like my iflight nazgul frame is better finished and thats a budget cheap frame. It's been holding up well through crashes, haven't had any really bad ones yet but it's tumbled a few times, simply dusted it off and she was good to go. I wish there were better provisions for the o3 air unit, like they could have provided hardware for the vtx that the drone is literally designed for, but I double-side taped the vtx in place and it is solidly mounted. Overall a good frame, kinda over priced for what you get. There weren't a ton of o3 3.5" options when the o3 first came out, so I went with this one.

    How much flight time You get with the 850?

    • @ryswe
      @ryswe  Год назад

      I got around 3.5-4 minutes with big punches and aggressive flying. I honestly think it could do with a larger battery with no action cam due to the o3 and this 4000kv motor setup, it has tons of power with the 850 on it because it's so incredibly light!
