Becker also transcended genres, cultures, and centuries with his music.

Now we lost our very famous musician to ALS here in Finland 1 year after diagnose he died today, r i.p Pave Maijanen he was great guitarist, producer, keyboard player,singer, bassplayer real multitslent. . Has anyone ever replayed this piece backwards, so, we can hear what it sounds like? If I’m not mistaken, Jason commented about this before he played it. (Greatest guitarist ever in my opinion) Jason’s abilities were as perfect as I’ve ever seen. His tempo, timing, pitches, phrasing, sweeping, picking alternations, power cords and ability to simplify complex pieces; are some of the best interpretations I’ve ever heard. Been a huge fan for years!
I remember being at NAMM that year and everyone watched and we all had the look of what's the point of keep playing, we will never do what this kid is doing. Best wishes and prayers for you Jason.

Back in the late 80's and early 90's there were these VHS tapes called Starlicks. It was a shredder of the days that were supposed to be "teachers" but it was just 45 minutes of them jamming and you watching. Jason was my first one. Then Paul Gilbert, Richie Kotzen, and Greg Howe.
This guy is able to play music without intrument, he just needs his imagine to recognize the tone in creating music. He is genius. What have happened to him until now, as if The God does't want he open The God's Secret, so He give him paralyzed. May be he is too genius as human.

Rebecca, i was gonna react badly about ur electric guitar being a linear style quote at first but read ur entire coment and all i can say is keep up the fire and never stop chasing ur passion even struggling with ur conditions, at any level u can, sanely of course, if u love music then ur going the right way. lots of love to ur days. and yes, electric guitar style is meant to be screamer, think about alt sax and human singing, classical guitar is infinite, but on the expressiveness realm, both guitars stands out equally despite their harmonic and polyphony achievement qualities being so different... to tell u a rare thing; im seeing now guitar (classical) as a koto and figuring out the chops by ear, yet paradoxically the only guitar that can possibly do that is a b bender electric guitar, we ll see in future. hope lifes beautiful to u. stay well.
