a backrooms video with locations that look normal but are absolutely nonsensical when you observe them closely and an entity that actually looks like an entity and is legitimately offputting? epic
Incredible. The fact of being chased by an inanimate object is quite disturbing. This idea is really good and needs to be explored more in backroom videos. At some point someone will have to strike back at these entities or attempt some dialogue, it would be very interesting to see that. Excellent video, good camera framing, light dispersion, moments of tension in the right time and excellent video editing. Keep up the videos, you have a lot of talent. I will be looking forward to the next content on your channel.
My dad was a real estate broker in the early 90's so I got to walk around in a lot of vacant homes as a small child. It always felt eery and unsettling. Rooms with no furniture would echo and there was often times a smell of plaster and must. These videos really tap into those memories and what it felt like to be in a space that was in between existences as one family was gone and another had yet to move in
think i had something very similar. We moved in. it was an Appartment but the bathroom and toilet was combined but the whole thing was narrow and you had not so much space. If you go inside right side you have the tap and sink. on the left side there is the toilet. But not opposite but hallway further. at the other side parallel to the entrance door there was another door to an Appartment but Look like it wasn't used for a very long time. I found seats and TV on the seats a thick knutted black and white striped blanket and an older plastic bag from the Austrian Supermarkt Billa. I can't remember much details. I know another room it was bigger and had a grey carpet floor . It's so hard to describe i need to model it. All I remember my parents where not so amused about it when I go there But I remember that I liked going there just be there it had something fascinating to it
I absolutely love the entity design, once I saw it in the thumbnail I already knew it's going to be some quality concent. The fact that it didn't attack immediately but just randomly spawned in the cameraman's way, plus its menacing t-pose was legitimately unsettling.
Very well done. Normally the entities in these videos just make me roll my eyes but this one was genuinely creepy and unnerving. Much scarier than the default roaring spaghetti-man. Also the architecture was unique and uncanny and not just the same ol' generic backrooms designs we normally see.
AgentStarke, well, yeah, I admit, that this short was pretty well done. But you know, there's still nothing wrong with the good old design of The Backrooms, nor with those old-fashioned entities. Actually, both of these styles are good in their own way.
This was absolutely amazing. The quality of your videos are incredible, I really can tell you’re inspired by Kane Pixel’s style in particular. This was probably my favorite video of yours so far!
I've watched MANY Backrooms videos, and to be honest they were all starting to get a bit 'same old'.............but hat's off to you, this kind of spooked me, without the obvious bacteria creature jump scare!
The way you made the fabric on the statue look, it's totally realistic. Blew me away. I love that you introduced a new "creature" into the mix, especially with how frighteningly quick it seems to move about plus the sound effects you added to it made it all the more terrifying. Like I could actually feel the wanderer's dread as he was trying to get away from it. And that's another thing, the running. Good job with the bob and gait of the wanderer's head as he was sprinting. Gave it a very realistic feel.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE! So much detail. So much edge of the seat horror, and loved the designs of the environment etc, and seeing the different object's and furniture's around. The Entity was very well created and the suspense of the Entity following the Wanderer was horrifying, before the final chase scene. Seriously, INCREDIBLE work. Also loved the part with the slanted corridor! So well done! The sections where you can see where other Wanderers were temporarily residing, along with the warning on the wall regarding the Entity was so well thought of and created! 10/10! Can't wait for the next Found Footage!
Excellent! Your guy's work definitely paid off. The layout of the geometry, changing colors in the environments and of course the silent gliding drape made it all come together. It felt like a fresh experience.
I really enjoyed the pacing and especially the architecture of this. It has that classic backrooms look while adding room and decor designs that were new to me, like all the little alcoves and blank framed spaces on the walls.
So much variety and so much to look at. I absolutely loved your furniture placement here. You didn't just randomly drop in a few things that didn't fit to be unnerving. Your placements made sense but still fit within the creepiness of a liminal space. I also enjoyed all of the alcoves and wainscoting of all things lol! The over-the-top set dressing gives your Complex a very real feeling. The layout of the hallways and rooms was always fresh and the twisty hallway was next level. I REALLY wanted him to walk down there and see if the gravity changed with the twist or stayed constant. Ah well, perhaps in a future video :) The attempts to map out the Complex and warn of the entity from previous victims was also a notch above the quickly scribbled warning note you usually see and was very well done. Finally, your entity is fantastic! I LOVED that we got a couple of chances to see it up close to build up that foreshadowing. And when it started chasing him? Superb! I'm tired of the 'wailing into the mic' entities and the near-silent whooshing menace of yours was shiver-inducing. I didn't know where the damn thing would come from! *chef's kiss Looking forward to more!
Yeah i know everything about the real thing, that probably inspired this 3D model too: the inanimate object (on a rolled board) who stare at you and then suddenly follows you. Kane applied the same concept to the rolling giant and this video comes months before his last one.@@laineisepic
Still my favorite not-Kane Backrooms vid a year later. I always loved this one and it's still criminally underrated so I felt compelled to comment. Keep doing what you're doing guy, you got talent.
What's weird is that there are always people carrying cameras entering the backrooms, like maybe it has something to do with no clipping into the the backrooms. I'm thinking the camera puts out it's own magnetic feild that is similar to the threshold and its also why they can no clip out of the backrooms by themselves.
@NotReverseLogic Yeah but what are the chances of so many people having cameras back in the 80s or 90s? And why does the camera always survive or escape and not the person? Old school VHS cameras do have their own magnetic properties and maybe this triggers the portal effect or whatever.
Excellent! I like the nod at the end to the idea that non-linear time reared it's head right at the end, causing the camera to video both the victim and the people that discovered the camera before shutting off. For me, there was a little too much nonchalantly looking around while an entity is chasing him in the latter half of the video, but other than that, one of the best I've ever seen!
Best part about it, when just looking at the statue thing it can’t do that much harm right it can run over you feet but that ain’t that serious but until you realized that when that camera man made up the ramp, then you realize that that statue thing can accelerate VERY FAST because it must have enough speed to literally catch up to the camera man like in the few seconds after the camera man got a good distance away from it it immediately show up unexpectedly, and it’s even able to catch up to the camera man that makes it terrifying.
Fucking sick! The amount of details in the rooms was awesome to see. Usually others just do repetitive rooms and you eventually see a pattern but this is just a great atmosphere throughout
The entity was super well-handled in my opinion. It wasn't just a scary monster, it felt more like a demon or a ghost using the cloak and statue to essentially haunt the protaganist. What gave me chills was the fact that it floated as it chased him 🥶
finally someone gives credit to kane pixels for using their designs. this makes me happy because now i can consider them linked even if they are truly not (in my personal headcanon at least)
This was executed wonderfully. I don't usually get jump scares out of these videos but this one did it. I like that you created a new type of entity that seems non threatening at first. This is going in a nice direction and I hope you keep building on it.

Who else came here from Kane Pixels "The Oldest View part 3"? Because this statue that is seen in this video literally reminded me of the rolling giant. I kinda just started calling it "Mrs.the oldest view" or "rolling giant 2.0" at this point.
I like that at least the entity design is very original and unnerving (a makeshift coat hanger with sticks and robes) compared to the way too many screaming spaghetti monsters or knockoff Slenderman/creepypasta smile that plagues almost a good chunk of post-Kane Pixels Backrooms content. Still, this video suffers from some of the same problem those latter have like: 1) the very obvious creepy grafftiti that gives all the game away at the beginning. I think the video would work better if it wasnt so handwaved who the monster was going to be. 2) the ending being another cat & mouse chase sequence, rather than playing up to the strenght of the entity being actually intelligent and interested in messing with the main character perception. PS. If I was in the same scenario, I would have kicked down that statue and tear its robes apart just to relieve the stress of being alone in the Backrooms lol
