I saw Monty Python's Life of Brian when I was nine.
Brian's mother was played by the late great Terry Jones, and arguably had the most famous line in the entire movie: "He's not the Messiah! He's a very naughty boy!"
The closest I ever came to being influenced was from me and my siblings reciting other Monty Python skits from memory during long car trips.
You know what the average child sees when they see a man in drag? They see an adult who still knows how to play pretend just as they do.
That's how I interpreted it too. People in drag has always been part of theater, as well. I wonder if Terry Jones were still around, if he could've talked some sense into John Cleese's sad view on the issue.

Oh, my sister is one of them. She made her kids sit and watch conspiracy RUclips videos and anything anti-Biden. (we're Canadian) Now that the kids are back in school (well, one of them, the other had basically quit, probably from hearing her rant non stop about how schools are evil and grooming the children), she told the youngest that fractions were stupid and she never uses them in real life, so they shouldn't be teaching them. (This is what he told my father, the carpenter) Luckily, he is smart enough to know to ask others, and got help with his math.

Maybe it’s because parents were forced to homeschool by the government while still paying taxes for schools without out any warning what so ever?
