I had a stroke 3years ago with left side paralysis. Cake decorating has always been a passion. Even though I mostly use my right hand I'm learning alot from u. ❤ I did a workshop here in my country of Trinidad and I was very uncomfortable. The teacher wasn't very understanding of my situation and limitations even though I was trying my hardest. Ur content is amazing and I'm learning alot. Thanks again ❤❤❤❤❤

Thanks for sharing!! It's amazing how much our bodies can do and the healing they are capable of. I'm so glad you've found a hobby that you enjoy that can also help you with with your rehab and dexterity! Piping is a great way to help us train to use our non dominate hand and it can take some getting used too. I've hurt myself a few times over the years so I can pipe with both hands but I am much better with my right than my left so it does take a while. But I find that the control and coordination learned with piping shills does translate to other areas of my life so keep it up and try not to let the occasional bad experience get you down. We are so glad you've found us and that are videos have been helpful! ❤️

Any what size flower nail are u using and I'm struggling with how to hold the bag correctly piping the circles and are u using thick consistency ? How did u line the bag with the colors?

Hi JC! it took me a little white to get to this. I wanted to think of a good way to describe the action you're having trouble with and inspiration just wouldn't come.
      - we are using a 3in flower nail(so a large one)
      - we use the same consistency for all of the flowers if you are talking about wilton conistances I would go with thick, but I prefer to use buttercream with butter in it. It really takes away the need for making various thicknesses.
      - we have a few older videos that show striping but it gets a bit redundant and our videos do tend to be on the long side so I usually leave that out. But we will have a hydrangea waffle cone video coming up and I left the striping in just for you. If you are struggling with it now just do solid color petals for your pansies, they will still look great and you won't have to worry about that one detail.
      - for the circle petals try to keep the fat end of the opening in a fixed position(like it's anchored there) and move the skinny end in a circular motion. I try to draw about 3/4 of a circle so you have nice fat round petals. to start with try just piping them for practice right in the middle of the nail to acclimate yourself to the motion before you make some flowers and that should help.
hope this helps and remember to keep practicing!

I don't have any cupcake content coming up this year but I was thinking about working some in next year and maybe doing some great flower cupcakes! I think our poinsettia flower series video has a cupcake portion(if I'm remembering correctly) but even if it doesn't they are just as easy to pipe on a cupcake as they are on your flower nail, and they make a lovely idea for Christmas. Thanks for the suggestion!

How do you get the three colours in the bag? That would be useful to know

we don't cover bag striping in every video since it can get a bit repetitive, but if your new to it it can be a bit daunting. We have it in some of our videos like our lesson on petunias. ruclips.net/video/N7fRuC8z40s/видео.html
