Who's excited for this series?! Huge crappie, river monster blue cats, sheepshead and speckled trout in Biloxi and then epic redfishing out of Bay St. Louis. We'll also be visiting a fish hatchery, learn about the birthplace of blues and the legendary outdoorsmen that came out of the Mississippi Delta, checking out historical sites and learning first-hand how they harvest shrimp, blue crabs and other fresh seafood. What sounds most interesting to you guys?!

The Crappie you are catching is the biggest I've ever seen. Don't get that big here in Washington State.

Thats the only way to cook fish. I would have a hard time working at the fisheries. Since I would thinking about eating them fish all the time

Curious that the conservation system isn't just fishing based? Sounds like monoculture based on sport tourism. What is Mississippi doing to make the river healthy? Not just attractive to fishing.

I couldn’t include everything in the 4-hour tour… so I focused on the parts relevant to my audience (anglers). As an example, they also breed and stock paddlefish and sturgeon, neither of which can be targeted by Mississippi anglers because they’re endangered and protected.
