Man I love this. It might not be a "classic" hand pump shape but it is so sleek looking. So cool to be able to put it on top of an existing electric well.
I know you have a specific "project" you are doing here , but, there is a neat little stainless steel hand pump on scAmazon that is just great for shallow applications and actually just works nicely on a barrel or tank . Under 50$ and comes with tons of replacement silicone rubber gaskets and seals. Glad you are doing "Well" and in country.... hang on ! Going to get bumpy !
That's an awesome product, and we will definitely check it out. It wouldn't work well in a deep well situation like we need, but it could be handy if you are using it on a rain catchment system!

Beautiful pump! We added a Simple Pump to our well as it was available to us seven years ago when we had to deepen our well. We have to ability to pump up to our house (45feet) and pressurize our water pressure tank. Like yours, it gives us peace of mind and we have several occasions to use it during power outages. Great upgrade for the property.
I'm trying to dig/pound/blast/and drill a well right now. I built a big well pounder ... well. I found the rock .... going to mount the .50bmg to the pounder rig and take care of that .... I really want a Buffalo pump , but I will probably have taxes instead.
We had to hire a drilling truck in 1998 to make the original hole in Michigan because of the rock. In Georgia we could just pound a pipe into the ground.
First time watching ,Great video. Seems to be an excellent quality pump. One question ? How freeze proof ? Idk where your at but where I'm some times it hits -14°F and colder with wind chill , so an iced up pump is No Bueno . Are you planning on building a pump house ?
This was in northern Michigan, it has a drain hole 6ft down and it seeping drains as soon as you stop pumping. You should be able to use it even in winter!
Don't worry, we did not encase the pitless. You can dig under the concrete on that side and access that pipe very easily. You can also access it still from the inside. Also two bags of concrete is not an enormous barrier.

Glad you like it! I may do a classic pump in the middle of the off grid cabin camps in the future.
Looks like a well designed pump Travis. I’m sure it will give you decades of trouble free service 👍
I hope you're right! Thank you for the view!
Looks great, man! Thanks for the link to that mixer. Might check one of those out.
Take care 🐰🍷
I appreciate it, enjoy!

Birds of a feather! I'm glad we're not the only ones thinking of redundancy.
Very Nice Thanks!

Comment for the Al Gore Rhythm.

Awesome work , I was wondering, how much did that set up cost?

With that pump you will have water during power outages. 😊
That's the plan!
I've sent them a request before and they never replied.
I haven't had any issues with them, excellent customer support in my case.
Nice add for the company. But the price is mind boggling. It's a pump at the end of the day.
Yeah, that's true. It's expensive, but water security is a real nice thing to have.
How deep is your well?

I came here to ask this same question! That's really awesome design and awesome that you won't have to worry about frozen pipes.
Good vid…. You located close to trout lake?
Yes, very close.
@@FollowTheCompassNorth awesome… used to own a lot on brevort lake and hunted the area north of there.
What was the price?
It depends on the depth you need. Expect a few thousand for a deep well pump setup at least.
Damnt the 1000th view hell yeah
Congrats and thank you!
I cringe at the concrete, because eventually the pitiless adapter will have to be replaced and all that concrete will be in the way.

Well gone!
Thank you!
