I just want to tell this story. I worked with roger lloyd pack in 1998, on a kids tv show called knight school. It was a medievil comedy show about teaching boys how to be knights. He played a magician and i played frankenstien. We spoke alot about football and both wanted to watch the opening match of the world cup that year, Brazil vs scotland. So we arranged to watch the match in room backstage. We sat together the whole time in full costume and makeup. It was just me and him, and, as i was, like most, such a big only fools fan, and as a young actor at the time, i was 18 years old, i couldnt believe how brilliant and lucky i was go have such a unique experience. It truly was one of the highlights of my career. I always think of it when i see a clip of him and smile to myself. A Lovely well spoken and very intelligent man. A great great actor.

Back in the early '80s I went to my company's local tool store to get a small box of screws. At the counter I asked the Trig-like gentleman for said box of screws. He advised me I couldn't have a small box of screws.
    "Why not?", I asked.
"Because we only have one pack in stock", he replied.
"Well I take that one then", says I.
    "No, you can't have it."
"Why not?", I ask, somewhat puzzled.
    "In case someone needs them."
A few seconds pass as I try to digest this logic.
"But *I* need them", I say....but I can see this point is not landing with him.
After seeking further clarification he finally, very reluctantly, allowed me to take just 12 screws (and no more), so I could complete the job I was in the middle of at that time. He would not give me any more screws for my following job later that afternoon.
To this day whenever I see Trig on the screen I think of this guy 😅😅

This is absolutely comedy genius & gold - I still watch it now. A lot of people nowadays would find some of this show offensive & get butt hurt watching it. For me it’s one of the best 👍🏻 if not the best

      Yup.
I've got the big box set on dvd and the Blu-ray set they released a little while ago.
      The Blu-ray set is amazing.
I won't watch it on Gold or on BBC at all.
Because it's edited and butchered to hell.
