What makes Onlyfools so brilliant is the characters are so natural. Theres no putting on over exaggerated movements, or accents, they seem like they're just being themselves.
They aren't characters you idiot they are real life people
No chance any of them being BBC news reporters or presenters then!
Yeah. Its like just watching normal everyday peeps, not a tv series
Well, I erd, she wanted to go wiv me.
The TJR of the Canary Islands 🇮🇨 🏝 😍 👌
@@Skipper-zp2qg Maybe so but they're still not exaggerated and very convincing. When you look at some comedies like that god awful thing Harry Enfield and Amanda Holden were in, Harry put on a totally over the top voice that is best left to a sketch show style comedy rather than a convincing sitcom.
Trigger’s timing and delivery were sheer perfection. I’ll never know how he kept a straight face while coming out with those gems!!! RIP Roger👍👍
Trigger was played by Roger Lloyd Pack
Absolutely!!!! 😍😍😍😍
@@stephensnell5707 i've only ever since him as trigger was he in anything else
You'll never experience anything finer than Trigger. Thank you for the wonderful memories. Cheers, RIP🙏
Trigger was definitely one off a kind. But we had some awesome ones in great Britain. Porridge. Going straight. Rising damp. George and Mildred. Love my neighbour. On the buses. Some mother's do have them. Open all hour's. Still open all hour's. Lee Evans. The good Life Richard briers. And the awesome Ronnie Barker. And many more 👍
The writing and delivery in this scene are genius. I haven't seen a show since that could do it quite the same.
And that's a thing you don't get nothing like this anymore & the comedy's of today are absolutely crap that's for sure & only fools & horses is the best British comedy ever 👍
Joanne Wootton One of the best my all time favourite was Steptoe and Son
There's plenty good stuff now, like Friday night dinner. There was also a load of crap back then which nobody watches now because they forgot about it. OFAH was great though.
@@acciid Friday Night Dinner?? Yeah.... if you're 12 years old.
@@shaun2urz How's that then? It's hardly fart gags. Or are you just an old git?
Absolutely timeless comedy.
No matter how many times you watch it
, you still crack up.
Trigger, the best used character in comedy history, brilliantly acted. Everything was said so straight it was unbelievable.
Comedy gold.
So hard find real people these days
You will never ever see the likes of trigger ever again. Pure one off character, written so well and brilliantly portrayed.
@@nextgengaming7803 sad really 🥺 rip trig.
Don't exaggerate! In history?!!
Love how he goes from t- total to ordering a large scotch. Just for listening to triggers story 🤣
Very clever writing, the triple punchline from 3 different characters - all with perfect comedy timing.
Trigger......priceless as always.
"You had to go to her when you wanted a new broom." 😂😂😂
"Trigger" had the same broom, for 20 years. Rodney: "That's 2 decades, innit" ?. Trigger: "I wouldn't go that far, Dave".
She was a real high flyer!
A real high flyer that always had a broom ready? Was she a witch? 😆
No Dave it’s just look after your broom
you can just imagine trigger nervously trying to explain what had happened
to his broom to this lady - maybe 31 times !
interesting point tho : trigger rarely ever speaks to women throughout the show
- maybe they didn't think the exchanges would work so well......
But every time when Trigger winks, I just laugh my ass off
I don't think I, ll ever see anybody as funny as Trigger. The guy pure cracks me up. 😂😂
His ability to hold a "poker face" while being excruciatingly funny was nothing short of epic...
I never tire of hearing Trigger. The broom tale is just magic
Those were the days! I'm glad they were my days 👍
John Sullivan who wrote Only fools and horses was a genius. RIP mate
TRIGGER WAS A COMEDY GENIUS. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. MISS HIM SO MUCH❤💯👌
He was also pretty damned good as Owen in Vicar of Dibley.
I never new if she was looking at me or watching for the bus coming 😂😂😂
One eye down the shops, the uver on coming back wiv the change!
The writing, timing and delivery..genius..
One of the best Trigger scenes EVER!!🤣
Another favourite is - you put a bit of music on Dave - genius
@@derekfleming3095The episode with the urns 'Where was your dad trig?' 'He died a couple of years before I was born' 😂😂😂
@@danw1374 to many classic trigger moments to list. His relation who couldn’t pay his mortgage and got the money from the passengers on his bus at Beachy head 😂
My favourite Trigger sketch by far, it is so funny, I laugh every time I watch it even though I know what is coming
I've watched these episodes so many times and I'm always left with tears rolling down my face through LOL so much, absolutely brilliant British comedy that's second to none ;-)
You can’t beat a trigger story, that’s where his role in conversation is very important
RIP Trigger, you were a legend!
I LOVE this so much! "TRIG WHAT HAPPENED?!?!
Ausome Aspie: Cute.
'I'll have a large scotch Mike' 😂😂😂
I'm probably gonna die laughing with this lot. Cracks me up every time all the time. JUST BRILLIANT 🤣🤣💯
I need another broom🤣🤣😂
Trigger has to be the best side characters in any British sitcom ever. Honestly can’t think of a better one
You prune, all those in OFAH are Actors played by REAL LIFE PEOPLE
Only trig could turn someone back to drink in a single conversation
Probably the best comedy series ever.Shame, every time I watch it a sadness gets to me when I see the departed actors...sad,I know.
They've had their time...
Boy did they have their time...
Untouchable the lot....
No such thing as comedy now...
Just political correct jargon....
Most of the them hero's would be ashamed to be part of today's lot...
A blessing in disguise for many....
@@honordefon610 "No such thing as comedy now" Well that's just utter nonsense. Just because something isn't your taste doesn't mean it isn't a high quality comedy show.
Never fails to make me laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣 never be another Trigger, or anything as brilliant as Only Fools & Horses x
Alan was absolutely Tee total and sober , until he met Del or spoke to Trigger.
Once Alan met Del Boy in an episode he ended up drunk afterwards ⚠️
@@stephensnell1379 every time he meets Del, he ends up getting drunk 😂😂😂
Trigger epic character Mike and Dell boy cocktails Nobody can create something like Only Fools and Horses anymore Perfect
They are not Characters
All those in Only Fools and Horses are Actors played by REAL LIFE PEOPLE
Best comedy of all time. Rip trigger and thank you for the laughs. Even today I'm in stitches.
And the look at the 'comedy' they dish up on the BBC today!
Read were the some B.B.C. Left wing plonkers want to stop showing clips with Trigger because it's making fun of people with disabilities I reckon you can only get a job with the B.B.C. if you hate Britain.
What comedy?????
Satirical rubbish
This is comedy...
I always looked forward to triggers parts he had all the best lines and by far the best delivery...
No offence to the others
This one is one of my favourites along with the broom..........
By the way BBC geezer
The minority can redicule themselves for entertainment because they haven't got much more to offer yet if you join in you are an outcast....
Hey yah shake it like a Polaroid picture.....
What comedy ?! We can't even laugh at the Television, without being called racist. It's just so ridiculous. It's not racist, it's just that, laughter is the best medicine.
Greatest British actor ever one of a kind trigger
Trigger a true legend
Indeed. Rest in peace, Roger Lloyd Pack...
Trigger one of the best comedy legends ever. Brilliant from Rodger llyod pack. Rip Rodger 🙏❤️
😂🤣 best ever comedy, just love it.
Amazing 😂 the cherry on top for me was Del pausing his phone call to hear the end too 😂
One of best tv comedy characters of all time and my favourite character from only fools and horses
Trig is gold! Just brilliant!
"You had to go to her when you wanted a new broom"
So Trig never went to her, we all know he's had the same broom for 20 years.
Loooool
RonVlaars VAR - Maybe he went to her 21yrs before.
Maybe he kept going to her when he wanted a new handle and new head. 17 times for a head and 14 times for a handle 😂🤣🤣
Love all the characters but for me Trigger and Denzil always made my day better.
Priceless. Pity the BBC can't repeat OFAH like they do Dad's Army, instead of making us pay again to see it on Brit Box.
Dad's army cannot touch ofah...
Along with last of the summer wine...
Allo Allo
Are you being swerved....
How about just buy the dvd boxset.
Its not expensive
Brilliant writing. Superb delivery. Comedy gold.
I'll have a large scotch Mike..... LOL
😂😂😂
Teetotal and within a few minutes of meeting Trigger, he's back on the booze, lol
@@VoltaFlame alan was a great character. He was seriousl but still funny. Shame he was not in more of the later episodes.
@@VoltaFlame Alan was teetotal, until he met Del or spoke to Trigger. 😅😅😅
He should've encouraged Trigger to tell more stories. His liquor sales always peaked following one!
One in a million trigger.🤣🤣💯❤
I have used the.... ".....I never knew if she was looking at me or seeing if the bus was coming"....many a time :-)
Trigger was best in one lines
And I...well, everybody, didn't know that Trigger could pull.
What ever happend to his girlfriend from dates episode????

Out of the nowhere: you never to what you got till it's gone 😂😂😂😂 the truth! 😍😍😍😍
Trigger and his deadpan humour man 🤣🤣🤣
Brilliant classic stuff
i wish a tv channel would put this on tv again once a week, never gets old brilliant comedy
Actually, you are in luck. There is a Television channel, called Gold, which shows a lot of the classic comedy shows.

i get the feeling Mikes business was always booming whenever trigger was around
He should have encouraged Trig to tell his stories more often, he'd've been a millionaire faster than Derrick and Rodney!

Legend. 😂
Trigger was world class gormless!! 😎😎😂😂👍👍
Roger Lloyd pack absolutely brilliant.
Script was perfect so classic
Timeless peerless comedy by masters of their craft
The timing is immaculate. So much so, that you are hanging on for each reply... Wonderful.
Timeless
Good old days 👌🙄❤❤
Trigger gets the best lines.
Always come back here to watch this scene now and then. Amazing
Trigger is a one off he could've had his own show
When I sit and watch my Fools and Horses box set and I laugh throughout - it just makes me think - how on earth did John Sullivan write all of those fantastic scripts for all of those years and never missing a step............ i think Gavin and Stacey was a great comedy in as far as it played on the same lines as fools and horses whilst being unique........... but 17 years of writing fools and horses and not a foot wrong just amazes me and such perfect casting.
John was responsible for the script of another brilliant series some years before OFAH. "Just Good Friends", with Jan Francis & Paul Nicholas. Very hard to find any clips of it nowadays, & the DVD set costs a small fortune!
@@tonymcguinness3886 Full episodes of just good friends are up on here now :)
Brilliant.
Lol .. brilliant 🤣🤣🤣
Brilliant all 4 characters Mike very underrated, Trigger genius
This and little Britain are amazing
In all the years I was in the Pub trade I can't remember a man ever sitting drinking a tomato juice.
2:05 trigger WHAT 🤣🤣🤣
Who the hell are the 55 giving this a thumbs down???......are they dead from the neck up?
Trig is brilliant in the programme anyhow, but here it is classic comedy timing from Trigger, absolutely brilliant
Trigger's 'date' and extended family, all with a wonky eye so clicked the wrong icon.
Some 42 carat plonkers, who don't know what good comedy is.
I’d like to see a few out takes on these, simply the best 👍👍
Absolute class !!!
Alright dave
@Union you sure?
@@ghostparty2062, of course, he's sure. He's checked his coat, his passport, and his birth certificate, and it definitely says Rodney. The reason why they call him Rodney, is because Rodney is his NAME.

@@ghostparty2062, yeah, yeah. So, what's Dave, a nickname, like ?. NO !!! You're the only 1, who calls him Dave. Everyone else calls him Rodney, and the reason why they call him Rodney, is because Rodney is his NAME.

Great how that last part was one take.
😂😂🤣 quality 👌🏼
Priceless 🤣🤣🤣
Lamdada the night away, lovely jubbly!!!
Fucking genius scene.People dont understand how good was this show
You prune,OFAH is a Comedy NOT a Show
I like this unexpected friendship between Del and Cassandra's Dad. Very masculine and optimistic. Rodney is status anxious and worried Del would be an embarrassment but people will surprise you.
Until season 6 Trigger was only slightly dim but still had some wit like calling out Boycie and Mike's bullshit.
Every now and again the lift went all the way to the top floor, metaphorically speaking 😂
‘I’ll have a large scotch please Mike’
Alan: I'll have a large scotch please Michael.
That was a fabulous show, if your feeling blue just watch that show
Priceless
No other country on the planet could match the Brits for comedy classics like these
You've won the prize for the most idiotic comment on this thread. I guess you watched all the TV comedies of 170 countries?
English Comedy, nothing, but nothing is better!! #Trigger
Amazing
They never make them like they used to. Good old British comedy at its best !!
Trigger made Casandra’s dad go back on the drink hahahaha now that’s saying sommat. Lol.
