Thanks.. Just received a toy accordion similar to the one you demo. I haven’t played in decades; I got as far as Palmer Book 5, under instruction, but I really never was any good. But I never lost my liking of the instrument. Now in retirement, I’m trying again. First thought concertina because I’m always going to build a boat and travel the Intra-Coastal waterway. But I don’t like the toy diatonic I bought, so small, maybe 24 bass, piano accordion.

I was contemplating buying one of these but it looks like a lot of work with the bellows, unless it had a leak?

I loved that little accordion, but it kept falling apart. I ended up giving it away, to a relative.

What brand is the one you have?

The brand name was "HERO." This was an old accordion, not a recent model. I no longer have this accordion; I gave it to a relative (a young child).

My stepdaughter's husband bought this at a flea market (somewhere in Central PA). He gave it to me on my last birthday (back in July). You can buy ones just like this on the Internet, but I wouldn't recommend buying one unless you play it VERY gently!
