A tip for future USUM runs: Necrozma has a capture rate of 255 in USUM which means a Quick Ball thrown on Turn 1 will ALWAYS catch it. You can save your Master Ball for an Ultra Wormhole legendary or Solgaleo/Lunala or something else important with a low catch rate.

Just as a suggestion, wouldn't tsareena be a good pokemon to catch, in this run based on her queenly majesty ability so you can't be hit by priority moves

See, I don't really get why in gen 8 they heavily nerfed disguise and then made another ability that's essentially old disguise but only against physical moves, but you can also renew it every turn.
This makes me wanna try a No-Damage run myself. The grinding part is gonna be annoying, but I actually really enjoy puzzles, and especially problem-solving.
I finally got this game and started it and was not expecting how much I got rocked in it so far. I beat the ghost totem and that’s where I’m at but this is the first game I’ve found myself struggling out of all. You made me realize I need to train more

The only criticism I have is at the Trainer School you can talk to a student and receive the Quick Claw, which drastically increases your odds of going first if the opposing mon outspeeds you. :) great job in the video though man huge props.

Fun fact. When you encounter necrozma after having defeated it before (so in the mountain) it has a 255 catch rate. So its very easy to catch with a pokeball at full health
get its hearts up in the pokemon thing where you feed them berries and they will have a high chance of avoiding the attack it only takes 3 rainbow berries to put them at 5 hears
When i first got ultra moon i was struggling with lurantis (i picked popplio) so i decided i would level up my trumbeak or catch a higher level one my first encounter was a shiny trumbeak that i still use while completing the dex to this day

I’m sure the master ball was overkill for necrozma. I remember my first run through and accidentally found out that a quick ball is pretty much 100% catch rate first turn.

I never understood how people found Ultra Sun/Moon hard. The game was really easy until ultra necrozma which is just 1 boss. I struggled more with Sun and Moon and felt like it had a much nicer learning curve with the totem pokemon.
Think its mostly the obsurd speed stats on trainers and the fact that 80 percent of wild pokemon just do an sos call when they get under half effectively stretching the encounter
Honestly I find it hard because of a few main fights, for example, the first fight against ilima, the water, grass, and fire trials, and obviously ultra necrozma
Finally a pokemon youtuber who mostly genders the pokemon correctly. It's still annoying when people generally talk about a pokemon and call it 'he' when you don't know yet what you get or when you generally talk about them.

@PongoThomas it wouldnt need to ohko, it'd just need to be able to kill a makuhita after fake out damage, since that move flinches the opponent
