i love exteriors on hhp! :D especially since its easier than on the island haha it would be cool to have a bigger space to work with but i still really enjoy it
for me it depends on the client, because with some of their concepts i can easily come up with ideas for the exterior, while for others it's more difficult. like i just did louie's house and he wanted a jungle themed area, so i basically just filled the exterior with basically every plant in the game, which came out really nice. on the other hand, merengue wanted like a dessert test kitchen, and i had no idea what to do with the exterior for that.

I do the same!! I do like the DLC for making me go out of my comfort zone though as far as builds and color schemes go, particularly like Liss said for builds like this. Ultimately just go for whatever makes you happy. ☺️
I'm addicted to this dlc too. Only thing that annoys me about it is that you can't enter the build mode whilst designing your own island. It would be so much easier to decorate the island if we could just edit it the way we can with the holiday homes!

I love this dlc because I’m branching out! I would never make some of these design choices if the villagers didn’t want them. Does anyone know if you make a vacation home for one of your island villagers and they move away from your island, are they still on your vacation island?

you can invite your villagers to the happy home thing and you still have them in your island :D [ps] you can invite them by giving them the chocolate souvenirs :D

I love the dlc, so fun to decorate houses and you make money to buy cool items with too! Feels like such a great addition to the game and the facilities are just dope! Being able to choose outfits for each person too?? So fun

also hi ya’ll! I just had a quick question. so I’ve recently gotten my parents switch and logged into my Nintendo account that was previously used on my old switch, but started a new island. Kinda thinking that was a mistake. I was HOPING to be able to get back to my old island with my new character to use up all the resources and etc that I have there, but since it’s using the same nintendo account I can’t have them running simultaneously. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could work around this? thanks again :))
You have to transfer your island! Look up “transfer new horizons island to new switch”. I know in the past you could contact Nintendo but I think there’s an easier way now. Good luck!! 🍀
I love the nightclub theme!. I made my Cafe the Copacabana. I wish we had full panel wall mirrors so I could recreate the Babylon club for my restaurant because it's the perfect tacky 80s tropical theme I'd love to have going on lol.

Yea, I never use the time traveling exploit. It's simple but I am too lazy to change the date and time, go to the game and do whatever, then change the date again. I just wanna play.

The goldfish bowls look like the Pooka fish pedicures they have in other countries (only place I ever saw it was Mexico on a cruise). Very creative!! You are my favorite streamer 💖 You keep the fun but take away the pressure of crazy full aesthetic islands. Really helped me regain inspiration with my burnout in the game.
Happy home designer kinda helps my mental health XD. Usually when I play acnh I compare my island to other people's islands, which makes me want to stop playing because I'm not good enough. But when I play hhp I just don't care about other people and just think that it looks good.

I’m the opposite, I go wild with the exteriors then give up on the interiors lol but maybe that’s because I haven’t decorated my own island at all

I wish i were better at making colorful builds, I usually just pick one color (usually pink) and theme everything around that. Love that for me tho
