- After completing the Happy Home Paradise DLC, Tom Nook gives you the ability to change the villager's houses on your own island. No more boring or ugly houses, we now have the power to do something about it! Today, I'll be renovating Gayle's house and giving her a cute & girly home.

You can bypass changing the exterior! When Tom Nook asks if you're ready to move onto the exterior, just say no. The way he words the question makes it sound like it's a necessity and that saying no will just put you right back into designing the interior, but no.

I just did Gayle's house yesterday! As much as I love an all pink moment, I saw she had the nature hobby and so I gave her like a pink and naturey house with the glowing moss accent wall for her cute little alligator self
i also love how you can talk to isabelle and tell her a villagers house bugs you and it resents the house to their original setup! perfect for starters who don't get their actual house
wait how do u do this my only options with isabelle for villagers is “the way they talk” and “the way they dress”

you can skip doing the exterior, when you talk to tom it’s the other option when he asks if you’re ready to do the exterior:)

The quickest way to get their photos to put in the house is by giving them a vacation home! You unlock their photo for house designing. Love the way you did her house!!

Fun fact I found out about the dreamy furniture if you put a dreamy shelf behind any of the dreamy furniture then it’ll just look like two little stuffed animals on top of the toy case you could even put it on top of a fridge, countertop, closet, table and I suppose if you’re really precise you could put it on top of one of the ceiling shelves.

This is actually insane cuz in my own house on my island I have a "craft room" with pink quilt wall, sewing machines and supplies, cute furniture, AND the paper chain on the ceiling!!!! I also have hello kitty rug and clock and it's the cutest pink and red haven ❤️

Gayle is an underappreciated QUEEN (also I think most of us agree that she is v v gay, she and Tia are together on my island, we love to see it). I love the way you decorate! Often when I’m going “ehhhh I don’t know about tha-“ you’ll go right and change it haha. In this case I thought the disco ball was too much clutter and the kitchen needed a plant instead of a gyroid but that’s about it! Also maybe a storage shelf by the cherry blossoms bc a girl can always use more storage. The sewing space was perfect and the puzzle wall really grew on me tho! Also the paper chain, WHAT?! I am *still* finding out about update items I didn’t know existed yet! So cute.
