    This takes me back to my childhood when I was 8. I and my stepmother went in to town to get a blown out tire taken off of the rim. After this, we were going to burn 🔥 the tire, but we never 👎 did. This video has GREAT 👍 sound through headphones 🎧. It’s like 👍 stereo, since it’s so clear. No music 🎶 to take away from the great 😌 sounds. Your friend, Jeff. Keep up ⬆️ the GREAT 👍 videos. Your friend, Jeff.

      It's served us well for almost 30 years, and it wasn't until recently that we even though about upgrading to a rim clamp machine. Up until last year none of my immediate family had any cars with 18" or larger wheels, but now we've got 4 cars/trucks with 18" wheels.

    Started with a 10/10, moved up to the 40/50 and used an FMC 7600 towards the end of our shop.
    I preferred the FMC as it was easier on the aluminum wheels.

      Very helpful video for using the Coats 40-40. I acquired one in good working order and hope to demount some old tires and mount new tires on older 15" steel rims in the near future. But most of my rims are not steel and it looks like it may be possible to use this machine with them if proper precautions are taken. Your video, one of the best I've found on the 40-40, will help me greatly - thanks.

      @the710experiment84  Год назад +1

      Personally I know it really does work great on 12"-16" aluminum wheels. Even without the protective sleeve it doesn't do any real damage if you're careful. I believe it will actually change 10"-17" steel wheels, but the biggest aluminum wheel you can do is 16" without modifications to the machine.

    • @the710experiment84
      @the710experiment84  2 года назад +2

      Yes it does very well for aluminum wheels from 12" wheels up to 16" wheels, and with the plastic protectors you'll not scratch a wheel being careful. It doesn't matter if the wheel is new or used it's a great machine!

    • @the710experiment84
      @the710experiment84  11 месяцев назад

      Thanks for subscribing! It's no problem getting the link really. Sometimes the links expire. For this machine it won't do more than a 16" aluminum wheel or 17" steel wheel. I've read you can modify them to do a little bit bigger wheel but it's major modifications that limit the smaller size wheels and aren't easily reversible, so I never really dug deep into what it would take to do it.
