A nice little touch was how they showed Piccolo falling right before all of Turles' men do as well. It's almost kind of symbolic, showing Piccolo's defeat being as equal of a loss to Goku as 5 individual men are to Turles. It kind of establishes the level of respect the two have for those who associate with them.
Based on this scene here between Goku and Turtles henchmen it clearly looks like Goku knows chinese kung fu as it looks like Goku’s fighting style is chinese kung fu but its not his fighting style here looks a little bit like Hung Kar Five Animals Fist Form but its only a small portion of his fighting style as Goku’s fighting style in this scene here with Turtles henchmen is more of a mixture of Shotokan and Kyokushin Karate with a little bit of Boxing and Muay Thai with some Hung Kar Five Animals Fist Form but only a small percentage of it yet audiences are so stupid and blind to not see that it looks like Akira Toriyama has fooled us all as fans of Dragonball Goku
