It's only bogging cause you're running 16:1 for the break in, go through a tank and then jump up to 32:1, as for the fuel tank, its just leaky. For the choke take that black part off and there should be a 8mm bolt and tighten that and you wont have any dramas
Break-in period of 2.5 seconds then hits a 10 foot jump...adrenaline kicks in and throttle gets pinned. This is gold! Mate you sure live in the right place for this sort of thing!
pull out the spark plug and see what it looks like, depending on how it looks, move the clip on the carburettor up or down. You should run these engines at a 40:1 ratio so change the ratio to that before tuning the carb
@@GregBarling If you search up a spark plug air-fuel ratio chart you will see what the engine is doing and from there you can decide if you need to get the engine to run more lean or rich, just a simple search will show you how to change the AFR using the needle clip
That brake rotor idea is bloody genius man!! Might want to run the brake rotor in the reverse rotation to account for the forces changing from stopping to going! Just an idea I had while watching along! Sick work brudda
I think that the fuel to air mixture is set wrong on the carb and also ride the clutch a bit coming out of corners let the engine rev up than drop the clutch but it looks good mate!
@@pitcomotorworx8687 yeah it does have a clutch to alow the engine to free spin and or be in motion when its let out so it does have one if u watched the video😂
This is sick ahaha I was thinking of doing this but now I definitely will love your content man we will be uploading similar videos to u ur really inspirational! We r Aussie too 👍🏼
Also, they are illegal here. They are only meant to be used on private property. If you are under 18, don't ride one of these on the road you will cop unregistered, unroadworth, driving without a lisence, non VicRoads certified engine, and if your not wearing a mask, one of those stupid covid fines And if you have your L's and you are caught on one of these, it's gone I got done the other week with everything you see here Plus not wearing a helmet, which I can't anyway
Yes bro brought a new phone 4 days ago haven't watch a youtube video yet cuase i wanted to make my first video watch made from you and ive already watch all off your old videos on my old phone keen as
That’s dedication. Greg’s videos are epic. Want to see some more jumping/tricks though and a few friend riders like a crew or something would be good too.
I just bought an 80cc motor kit for my mountain bike I'm from Pennsylvania so I'm really stoked I really enjoyed watching you build it put it together I mean nothing looks like a really rips through the Outback or the countryside looks like you're in Australia. Lot of land out there the bike that you got looks like it's topping out at like 55 mile an hour that's pretty good so I'm just hoping that the engine kid I got Mouse up to my mountain bike I guess it's standard but you have to improvise so I liked watching you solve those problems that was pretty cool yeah man keep making videos dude I enjoyed it I like the GoPro that was awesome
Awesome vid as always, should be able to get more more off the bottom power by mixing the fuel a bit more lean like 30:1 and just give it a clutch kick out of the corners will also help a lot
not to much on the clutches though because the ones on this kits are not the greatest and wont last you too long, just from what i heard. Im getting a 80cc kit soon.
I was watching your dirt jump videos. Some advice on the concrete mix. Just buy cement, not concrete. Mix it about 3 shovels of sifted dirt to one shovel of cement. Add water a bit at a time until it's like soft serve icecream. Try to make the top few inches of each jump with that mixture. Try making a big sieve the size of a hula hoop with wire mesh, don't pinch your mum's one again. Standard brick mortar mix is 3 parts sand to 1 part cement, so you don't need much cement in the mix.
Really enjoyed this! Always wondered what those little motors were about. Seeing now that you have to really think it through for it to run long at all.
Lol bro this is hilarious, when I saw the title I thought "no Greg, dont do it" but man that was a laugh to watch you shred that thing. You ride that thing faster than I can ride my dirtbike 😂
Hey Dude what's up Here's a couple of tricks I learned of That will help out these little motors And any motor really ----(1) To get more speed and more power You can open-up the spark plug gap from the recommended .025 to .033 -.035 And this will allow the spark to linger longer in the combustion chamber , before grounding out And this will hence allow the spark to ignite more fuel in the cylinder , and give the engine more higher combustion (more power) .... ----(2) And if you increase your 2 cycle oil mix to 10 ounces of two cycle oil mix , per 1 Gallon of gasoline And by doing this you will get better lubrication on the inside of the engine Hence giving you less heat And a cooler running engine .... ----(3) And another thing you can do Is put little holes on the back of the plastic , of the air filter holder So that you can get more air into the carburator And have a better acceleration (more and better air flow) ---(4) And the last thing which I haven't tried yet (but I'm going to) Is to connect a long rubber tube (hose that can handle heat) between the carburator and the intake (about 6 - 8 inches long) And this is supposed to allow the engine to get a better engine idle adjustment (when adjusting the idle) Because it allows the (air and fuel) mixture To have more time to blend better Before reaching and entering the combustion chamber And hence giving you a better and smoother running engine .......P.S. Those are some Kick-Ass hills your jumping I don't have those kinds of guts that it takes to jump them hills But hey keep riding on And Y'all Stay Safe over there And God Bless !!! 👍
The chock issue if you take off the air filter “that black thing behind the carby” it’s to Phillips heads to take that off then there’s a 8 mm bolt tighten that up and it will stop the chock coming down
This is going to be my guide to my front suspention kmart mountain bike. going to take off crank set from my bmx, and chuck on moto bars, made a fast road bike one. now for 80 cc jump bike
Watch TravisTutorial here on RUclips. He explains how a carb works and how to tune it. He has a Bing carb which is a simple carb. It will run down the basics in great detail but be easy to apply to any carb. By the sounds of it yours is running rich. Good for break ins... but too rich can prolong the rings seating process. Its also limiting the RPM range right now, which is needed for the break in process. By the sounds of yours you will prob benefit from some jetting and needle jet adjustments. Learn what "plug chops" are and invest the 35 bucks in a Cylinder Head Temp Gauge (CHT) its a pretty basic but good form of engine monitoring.
ive had many of these kits pull the carby back half a inch and the carby should have a clip on the golden throttle pin put the clip on the top slot and it should fly
It's only bogging cause you're running 16:1 for the break in, go through a tank and then jump up to 32:1, as for the fuel tank, its just leaky. For the choke take that black part off and there should be a 8mm bolt and tighten that and you wont have any dramas
Thanks dude that should sort all my problems out with the bike
Run 50:1 or 60:1, shave the head and get a power pipe for it..
Joseph Egerton if you run that mixture then your bike going to blow up very soon
32:1 is the only way to go on 2smoke.

Oi Greg I've got a great idea! Disguise the fuel tank as a water bottle mounted in a bottle cage!
How tf do u expect him to do that
thats impossible the gas tank is gravity fed

It depends on oil quality, I run 32:1 and have gotten 41mph with stock muffler, and carb.. I've ran 40:1 and it revs too high and sounds too lean.
