I love it when you include clips of your childhood opening gifts etc it really adds to that nostalgia feeling i get from your videos as i relate so much to your stories. Wasn’t this game a launch title for the PS1? It looks so impressive for its time, hell it still looks awesome today
Thanks, Stray. Annoyingly, the camera only came out around Christmas time. Would've had so much more footage of me getting games if my parents filmed my birthdays too. Wish I had footage of me opening Banjo-Kazooie! Thanks for watching, as always, mate!
A lot of people rave about TM2 but that’s likely because that was the first one they played. TM1 was pretty monumental for PS1 at the time, built entirely on its own original theme with the collective horror-seque urban heavy metal ambiance. The Multiplayer was very sound and they even had the foresight to reduce the level size for it. Character originality was great and their budget-cutting use of game crew members as the character pictures was smoothed over. Bring this game back!
I'm a cynical old man who usually doesn't bother ever subscribing to RUclips channels. However, this video echoes my thoughts exactly. I don't know if there's ever been a better case of the RUclips algorithm feeding someone the video they needed to see than this. I've subscribed and I'm puzzled about such a small viewership count. Keep at it man, they will come. - Probably Sally's son
i never owned this series of games but i did play it on someone else's PlayStation it reminded me of Carmageddon which i was playing on the PC at the time good stuff. I did hear that Twisted Metal Black was one of the more darker versions of the games might look that one up some time.

Couldn't agree more, Cal Bar! I didn't know they used crew members as the character photos. Very cool info!
Spot on. Twisted metal was a legend from the overjoyous infancy of 32 bit consoles. Awesome game, cool video.
Thanks, Haz Tee!

Ah, mate, that's excellent to hear. And thanks for the sub! Wow, if you are Sally's son, then I owe you a big thanks!
Good game for its day. Top video, thanks. Are you covering some PS1 era games for the next while?!
I haven't got anything lined up right now but I've definitely got some ps1 era games I plan on covering in the future. Thanks for watching, Boss!
@@tominator4468 Thanks! Looking forward to any video game stuff you produce here, cheers. PS: Twisted Metal 2 was even better, if memory serves!
