I wanna take all of Kellogg's parts and revive him as a Courser.
That sounds like friending him with extra steps… he’s basically a courser. Just more down to earth.

There's a difference as a synthetic is more so like a Terminator and a cyborg is more like a cybernetically enhanced human.
Think of it like this. Cyborgs are like humans trying to be machines, Synths are machines trying to be humans.
Kellogg's voice actor though...that voice is so incredible!

This mod goes above and beyond.
You should check out a mod called "Wasteland Ballistic". It's like Better Locational Damage and Weapon of fate combined.

I'm going to have to try this. Sharing and Caring Companions was one of my favorite mods for Fallout 3, plus the idea of mortal followers in FO4 will add a nice touch, I think. The only thing I wish this mod did was give the companions/followers names.
I accidently left that part out, you can use the machine to give them a name. Or if you are on pc you can use the mod "rename anything"

Just found this. I've always wished/hoped for an Oxhorn companion, I'll have to check this mod out!
One idea (for me) would be to use this mod to recreate Amata Almodovar from Fallout 3 (or recreate Brisa and Amanda) from the mods Brisa Almodovar and Ties that Bind.
Another great video! By any chance do you have a mod order/list that we could copy and paste so we can make sure we are not over doing it with mods or getting mods that may or may not conflict with each other?

I love with this mod that I can give my companion a modded weapon without them just switching back to there default weapon 5 seconds later😂
Just take away they're default weapon away from them & equip the weapon of choice 👍🏾
@@megalondonrappers7564 that's not how it works if you play the game.
They won't switch back to their default weapon if you put plenty of the modded weapons ammo type in their inventory

A lot of my weapon mods have messed up left handed shooting from cover for companions and npcs
So I am able to make a custom companion but it is through the mod holotape in my pip boy...is it essentially the same thing? I am playing the mod ground zero..idk if that helps with identifying which custom companion mod I have downloaded

Is there a limit (other than caps to spend) on the number of companions available with this mod? An older video on it said there was a limit of three. But your video suggest that the limit is either much higher, or is unlimited?
A few issues I found
Followers will continue to follow you even if you dismissed them.
They will stay in the same spot in a settlement if you leave them there?
It won’t always give the option to have them with weapons out.
A bit annoying not sure if there’s any fixes for those issues?
wish there was a mod where i can tell my follower to relax guard wait.. i mean wait is there and wait and follow are only options.. during settlement build they follow u so close sometimes stand where ur building..

I never actually need caps and some of the voices don’t work and neither do the custom pre made ones. Never seen an update for it either but could be just me. Been using it since mods came out for xbox
yeah it don't cost me anything creating a follower not sure if you have this problem but when i choose a name for my companion it will choose a different name from what i chose.
Does a “body guard” count as a follower will it disable lone wanderer?
it is a good mod but the name rings a bit bugged when i choose for example i name a companion harper but instead i names the companion harmoney
Tried this mod, and I also tried to make this work with the DOA Races mod (which was an ordeal and a half) and finally sort of made it work.
So, awesome because I get to have 1 or more lovely DOA girl to accompany me on my adventures. But then 1 time I tried to get her to stay in one of my settlements in the meantime by selecting the "disable follower" and "disable commandstate" options, I just saw her start to walk away from my base. Okay, so I thought maybe if I assign her to a defense post she'll stay. That was not the case. Now I have a follower somewhere I my game.
Do you get these instantly or do you have to do a quest or something
I loved this mod. The only reason I stopped using it was due to it crashing whenever you try to change the face of the companions.

Can they become a settler? If you dismiss them, where will they go? Can you rename them?
I've been having this issue with this mod for awhile, doesn't matter if I put my companion on essential or non essential they'll just go down and won't actually die, this ruins the immersion for me, and I really like this mod. Does anyone have any fixes to this? Yes I've tried uninstalling the mod and reinstalling. As well as cleared my data banks on my xbox storage. I've even ran this mod by itself to see if another was conflicting with it .
But can when you trade with them make them wear armor and weapons from mods that aren’t in the options
you can equip them with any armors you like after they are your companion

It’s classic holstered weapons and it doesn’t appear to be on Xbox
Pretty sure that mod requires Fallout 4 script extender, which means it won't end up on xbox. Unfortunately.

So I’ve found a problem with this mod; you cannot talk to the companions, meaning you cannot stop them from being your currently selected companion. Ex. I want to send mine to one of my settlements but I cannot
Yeah I found that out as well. Kind of a bummer cause otherwise its great. I was going to try and use it to kit out one of my settlements as a Brotherhood outcasts from 3 but they really don’t work properly as settlers…. Too bad…

Too bad you can't use it to make faction bodygaurds. Would be cool if you were doing an institute playthrough to have a crew of synths follow you around. I guess for other factions you could just dress them up as minutemen or BOS. But I didn't notice any dialogue that sounded faction specific so your BOS bodygaurds would say all the BOS lines.
At 10:00 It shows a brotherhood and minutemen dialog option.
Prepare for your own brotherhood hit squad

Un frellin believable....I can't believe this exists, does Arnold say get to the chopper ? if he doesn't he soon will when i get my vertibird, i want my own brotherhood all kitted out in power armour with mini guns, but seriously this mod is a gem, the settlement mods to were damn fantastic to,

this mod is way too important, needs to be downloaded if you want a companion in different ways, instead of just regular vanilla companions

Does the marksman rifle mod have working animations for npcs and companions when they're shooting from cover left handed?
I see one issue with this mod.
You are able to have them wear or use any weapon or piece of armor. (Seemingly)
So basically you can buy any weapon or armor in the game, without having to do anything, even if you are lower level. Even if it's supposed to be a unique.
Correct me if some of my info is mistaken Dak, but that seems a bit OP.
Just use a cap dup glitch and you'll be fully armed and armored at level 5.
true but if you are using this mod then you are already playing in a modded state. If you want to cheat you could just install cheat mods lol. This isn't exactly a lorefriendly or immersive mod, so i see it as more for fun anyways. If someone wants to go through that much trouble to cheat, let em

Edit: Its a shit mod. You cant make the companion do shit aside from follow you. Even if you give it an “aggressive” stance for ranged or melee, it doesnt attack on its own but just follow you around in combat. The mod had potential but now its just a waste of space. Dont recommend you download it.
