Those black people don’t understand what the black lives matter movement is about, quite obviously. (Btw I agree with the original comment, a lot of those young white people have a white savior complex) I was just giving an opinion on what I saw.
Edit: ok so it’s been three months and I’ve been trying to reply to everyone and I see how the wording of my first comment can come off as absolute or ignorant and maybe i have misunderstood what the black people in the video were saying. But I just want to clear things up, all I’m saying is that I don’t personally understand how you can be a black person and be anti black lives matter, and I’m not saying anyone is required to support a movement either. I’m also not talking about protesters, rioters, or marches, I’m talking about the actual movement, the message, and the activism, who and what it represents and the people it benefits (and from my experiences and from what I’ve seen, the movement has done more good than bad for us in many aspects of recognizing the black experience in America, I see how people may not like how the movement looked after people started looting and rioting last summer which is wrong, compared to when the protests started in 2013). I’m sorry if I’ve confused or offended anyone that was not my intention at all, have a nice day! (I get that everyone wants to keep replying but can you please stop now, my phone is blowing up and I understand what you’re saying)

If someone was bringing awareness to breast cancer you wouldn't come out and say "All Cancer Matter!" (or maybe you would IDK). "All Lives Matter" is not synonymous with "Black Lives Matter", if they were, we wouldn't need "Black Lives Matter".

Unless their life, the life of a fellow officer, or the life of a civilian, is in immediate danger, they are not authorized to use lethal force. Allowing police to do so, undermines the entirety of the court system. Racism isn't as simplistic as you think, there were black singers and athletes during Jim Crow. The existence of black celebrities doesn't mean racism against black people is nonexistent. The injustice refers to the war on drugs, stop-and-frisk and qualified immunity to name a few.
P.S. claiming the majority of black rappers are hacks and that a movie only won an Oscar because it was about "black and gay people" is quite a *bold* statement.

Why wouldnt you resist tho. I dont think because society makes laws and forces people to follow them that we should just submit and obey. The people that made these laws are no different than us. Subject to the same questions and reality. Humans know practically nothing about why life is the way it is yet people for thousands of years have been claiming they know how life should be. Then later down the line a new way of thinking will take over often better than the last even though many or most people during each time would think that the current way was good enough or perhaps even the right way. Why would today be any different? Death, fear, and pain is what keeps us in line.
