- Jingisukan (Genghis Khan) is a Mongolian BBQ that is knows as the ultimate comfort food in Hokkaido Japan. The grill used is shaped like the helmet of Mongolian soldiers and the meat used is usually fresh mutton without any gaminess.

I did the Jingisukan Viking at the Sapporo Beer Brewery nearly 15 years ago, and I remember not eating all day to prepare. It's great seeing someone enjoying it as much as I did!

Everything in japan seems so good, I love the waiters in like every resteraunt, the food seems amazing, places look clean everywhere, and most importantly the people always seem go good to talk to.

Man you make food look so good. Usually I'm eating something really inferior to whatever you're having but tonight I had wood-fired Neapolitan pizza (two kinds) delivered from a great pizza joint near me and it's fantastic. It still doesn't compare to the fine dining you are enjoying in Sapporo but I'm enjoying watching your video with headphones on munching on great pizza! Take care Mike and thanks for the great vids, you've helped me through this lock-down for the last two months more than you'll ever know.

It's called Genghis Khan because it's traditionally lamb/mutton which was known as the meat of choice of Mongolian soldiers. Least that's what Abroad in Japan said.
In America sweet corn can almost always be eaten raw. It's just got a surprisingly sticky, starchy texture. I grew up eating fresh corn picked straight out of the garden growing up.

Also, if you get a chance to come back to Japan, I suggest you go to a Yakiniku store called 298(Nikuya). They have all-you-can-eat Yakiniku for $10. Its super cheap and was my wallet’s best friend back in high school!

To help that keep up with the food in the video, ditch the flavor packet, use a 50/50 mix of chicken broth and beer, spiced up with a little sambal oelek. Grill your sausages under the broiler, slice them, boil them in the broth for 5 minutes before adding in the noodles. That's ramen that's fit for a king. Well, at least for a duke.

Fresno State University sells extra sweet corn every year, people line up for hours to get the first and freshest picked of the day. Because it is so popular, It is actually a universal news event for all media. SUPER sweet and usually 3 for $1. Raw, steamed, boiled, bbq'ed and Mexican style; you can't eat just one. Covid or not it will be coming soon. Farming never stops. Oh, I love two layer cheese cake like you had, reminds me of mom's cooking. And lamb!!! Favorite meat.
