I had cut my hair pretty short two years ago and honestly it was like near my earlobe/neck, and I did a set and it turned out well you just have to find certain products for it come out with a little more volume but now my hair is armpit length so
Phyllis Pierce try to dry your hair with a tshirt, and don’t constantly tie your hair, honestly I get a ton of hair shedding which is normal tbh as long as you don’t have chunks of hair falling out in each section... I’m no expert at all tho 💀💀💀 I just use information from the fair amounts of videos I’ve watched

I love gels for my rod sets, I feel like the style last longer. I just did a orange rod set on my channel also twisting then curling definitely gives stretch! Your hair came out so pretty!
I realized recently that my issue was tension. I never put tension on the perm rod. Curls NEVER came out right until I put that tension on it. I'm going to try this method tomorrow. Thanks Nae! Looks beautiful!

Whenever I do this set I’ve learned adding less water/product has made my sets look so nice, people have complimented them more often and has made me feel more confident with my styles but I do have to re-set them but I don’t add more product I just add water and roll them back

People better not be complaining about you using the same products. Lol! You know those two work for sure...ain’t nobody got time to try new products on a perm rod set and it don’t come out right. This process takes time and patience, hence why I’ve only don’t it once. 😂 Beautiful results per usual and I love your makeup as well. The eyeshadow is gorgeous! 😍

i love doing perm rod sets but the florida heat makes my curls go flat, frizzy, and dry once i step outside. anyone know how i can fix this??!!!?

Mine is Eco styler and twist butter, perm rod has never worked for my wet hair. So it works better on my dry hair.
