Bro if you're unfazed by being 3 goals down with less than 15 seconds left in a 5th game with Zen I don't think there's any amount of hate that could ever touch you lol. Mawkzy is just a natural with it. The aspects of 1s that everybody else hates; the nitty gritty, the mental resilience, the mindgames, persistance while being backed up against a wall, the trash talks, the nerve wrecking situations, getting annoyed by your opponents plays etc. he just basks in those much like all the other top 1s players, they literally seem to be built different.
It's funny how it's still kind of uncertain who the undeniable top is, it's always a rock paper scissors situation because on any given day one of them can dominate the other. That's why the current format feels amazing, one single tournament, no matter how big, just simply isn't enough to properly ascertain who the best 1s player is
@@Stick1MasterTbh Mawkzy is so freaking insane at the game, I would say he is better than Rw9 if his consistency was just as him. But his performance is higher than Rw9 by a huge margin of difference. Rw9 wins consistency, Mawkzy wins performance.
@@Grenate yeah man after the latest tournaments i'd have to agree with you, the difference between a rw9 vs a peaking mawkzy is so much bigger than when rw9 is peaking. mawkzy can make it insanely one sided against literally anyone, rw9 seems to struggle a bit more against him even on his best days

I can't believe zen said "be careful" when he was the favorite to win and he was already up in the game. It would've been epic if it were OKhalid coming back against zen and he pulled that out. Would definitely be scripted though if that happened.
Really happy about the result though. As a flakes fan, I find mawkzy to be great to watch.
So crazy to think how much the pro scene changed after zen.
Pros are now conditioned to expect any and all angle double touch including one across the whole field & near ceiling air dribble double touchs.
The aerial game & defensive game (the respect) has drastically changed soo much its a whole different level of play compared to before… just amazing

They have of course always expected these, but after zen came into play, more of double touch and other mechanical attempts became highly frequent compared to before is what Im trying to get at. The consistency on the pros has improved so much is all im saying.
But zen did bring into light how effective ground to airdribble ceiling plays are, it was used alot but not as frequent as now imo and this was a play I've always got hyped seeing. These plays are just more frequent and more consistent to hit than before.
@@sergiomerino4116Nah... Even pros will give players space if they attempt shots they see as unscorable. But Zen is seriously pushing the boundaries on what angles are dangerous. He can just turn on a dime with the ball and move more efficiently than any other player currently in the scene.

@@krusher181 Bruh this is an entirely different skill level. It is as hard now to score 3 on zen as it was then to do what fairy did at least. The level of play now is nuts. A gc1 in 1s slaps fairy and okhalid from back then peacemeal. Im playing in c3 in 1s and watching kids hit plays that players back then couldn't dream of. The entire game has advanced.

Nah, this was just a group stage match so it cant really compete with matches like Khalid vs Fairy in the finals of whatever tourney that was, cant remember. Zen still tops the group. Doesnt matter how insane the series is if it doesnt mean much
