A BenKii video on Friday? We have been blessed early it seems.😍
yes, I want the original soundtrack so bad
You can mod the soundtrack in. There's a mod for it on nexus mods with 3 varients of it. Installation is incredibly easy too, just drag and drop a file where it tells you, been playing it on steam deck like that for a while now
Hope this stuff makes it into the console ports
According to the devs, it will. :)
It did my boys @@BenKii
Damn didn't realize they fixed this! Looks like another runs in order, the ending SUCKED before.
Why is there no health? After you die you only get 3 health. Seems kind of unfair
¯\_ಠ_ಠ_/¯
The whole point of regen is to bring you back in stable condition. Once you're "stable", you can crawl away to a surgery bed, all the while SHODAN calls you a bag of meat and bone, sweating and panting as you run through her corridors
@@aiodensghost8645 huh? Talking about the final boss
I have to get it someday and try it.
No, the only way to "fix" the final battle was to throw the dumb thing out entirely and just do a cyberspace battle like in the original game.
I would've liked that too. The reworked Cyberspace combat is pretty good in this remake.
Cyberspace kind of sucks tho. It was more fun in the original because it felt more like you were traversing through a computer instead of playing a space shooter. They drag cyberspace way too much in the remake.
There is a bad feeling when I come across a cyberspace terminal in the remake. I roll my eyes everytime.
The ending I think is way better than the original. As you aren't just flying and shooting shodan like a regular enemy and winning the game
Nah, the worst part is being forced to redo cyberspace parts on every future replay.
Honestly it's such a drag to slog through those parts just to continue with the rest of the game.
I mean, I liked the reworked cyberspace segments. I like flight sim games so those parts would always scratch that itch.
@@BenKii I just did a few playthroughs back to back and was sick of them stopping the action.
I would love a game like descent but with more rpg elements/depth as a standalone.
@@AzaIndustries You should check out Everspace then. That's a neat little space flight game with an upgrade progression system. However, it is a roguelike so you may or may not like that part.
Not that I care about FPS games, but I'm glad you're having so much fun. :)
To be fair, System Shock isn't *just* an FPS
@@cosmicmuse2195 How so?
@@NiceLittleWolfie It's an immersive sim with heavy puzzle elements and rpg-esque mechanics. It's not just CoD or something. The atmosphere and and story are one of a kind. This game walked so that games like Bioshock could Sprint
@@cosmicmuse2195 I see, thank you.
@@cosmicmuse2195 and the first Bioshock was a massive downgrade in complexity.
You remind me a lot of videogamedunkey
@@Linkale_ Thank you! That means a lot to me since he is my favorite RUclipsr.
Yup they fixed the final battle. And guess what? It's just unfair now on the highest difficulty (all 3 except the mission). Now if you die there you'll have to start it over. To take a ride while Shodan is talking about herself. No medkits, no lifebar. I don't know such difficulty even in Dark Souls. They just broke it so it's impossible to get the achievement for finishing the hard difficulty.
I finished on normal difficulty, and, yes I did die at first, I still was able to complete it. I think they give you 3 lives to complete it and if you fail you have to start it over. Still beats being bored to death in the original version.
They patched in a life bar. I finished the fight first try even before such a patch. Still don't understand why people are having trouble on this fight, it doesn't even spawn the more difficult viruses on 3 3 3 3.
@Kaleidio because when you lose a life, you respawn with 3 hp. It's possible to finish it. Just a pain. And doesn't make sense. If they just place 1 health cross in each section, it would make the ending more fun and not so confusing and unfair.
But soon as you lose a life, you respawn with a bunch of enemies and die in 3 hits.
you kinda forgot the finger nails to tell which gender you are.
Hey! Guys can have finger polish too! :P
Jokes aside, yeah, that was a difference. Also think the arms look a bit more slender so there's that.
