I ran 48 studs (2 every other paddle) on a Renegade 800 e-etc with a 1.25” ripsaw track. I put 11,000 miles on that sled and found that set up to work really well for average trail riding. It saved 5lbs. of rotating mass over the standard 96 stud package, yet gave me plenty of traction on icy turns and concrete gas station driveways.
Your family show is just as much a part of riding tradition as getting out there and riding. Thank you for such high quality content.my helmet is off to you.
I was 7 yrs old when I got at arctic cat lynx 250.....rode that til 12 then upgraded to Jag 340 Andrew then El Tigre 6000. You don’t need to go too small...just limit where the kids ride....and let them grow into their sled.
The Scandinavian BRP Lynx Rave had electronically adjustable suspension in year 2015 I believe. So to say that Yamaha is the first in the industry, is just not correct.
Love it!
went from 9-11 was on a boosted 120. 11-12 was on stock indy evo 13- renagde x 600
Why are we talking about Cat innovations on a fricken Yamaha? They are the ones that got with Fox and developed this shock technology.
i went from a citation 3500 to a 96 xcr 600 sp never crashed a sled yet and always attached the tether cord also on my voyager 550 155 and my snowdog

Almost exactly the same Cats I grew up on...lol. Loved the day my Dad handed over the 81 el tigre 6000...… rocket!!
That Evo would look SICK in a matte black wrap with gloss black accents. Like a little stealth fighter or something haha
Mark you got a little snow on your bottom lip! Lol!! Sorry had to!
I started on a skidoo mxz 550f, great starter sled for sure. My cousin went from a brave to renegade 550f
can somebody tell me why the EVO has a governed 550 rather than just a 340?
Because you can take out the limiter and it will be as fast as a full size sled
@@andreawagner4461 Buy a used Indy lite, save your money !
It’s not limited to kids only, it’s also targeted for smaller adults, who would use the full speed available.
I grew up riding a 1972 John Deere 300. It was capable of 60 - 65 mph. Hard on the butt but it was dependable.
My first snowmobile was a 2000 polaris SKS 500
tether cords should be attached to the kids mitts ??? i think.
Check out our test of the RMK evo! @HlZY

Do you think every parent has 7k to spend on a snowmobile for there kid
Nope, but some do.
SnowTrax TV true
Hey mark i found you a 1978 yamaha enticer very good condition..low miles for 650 dollars in wisconsin..i could send you info..its a 250cc
Where is the phazer
I feel like your episodes are on repeat
Is there a reason as to why what’s aired on tv and what you guys release on here is 1 episode difference
I understand the need for Electric start but it’s a luxury. The kids really should learn how to pull start their own sleds if they want to use them.
i had to laugh when the lil one on the zr120 hit the gas and gone haha that was funny larry the enticer would be proud
I am 11 and I have a 850etc
I’m 11 and have a arctic cat 500

and cat had automatic electric adjustable shocks back in 02 with their smartride suspension
Guess it Polaris’s turn for a hand job.
All CAT on the Yamaha. Yamaha came up with none of this.
Great ep
Some one should put a two stroke Motorcycle engine or Yamaha two stroke Go-Cart engine in a kitty cat sled
When I was 6 years old I stated ridding a 2003 zl 600 and now I am 13 and I am going to the upper Peninsula today.
Thanks guys
45th anniverasry polaris xc's had rider adjustable rear suspension on the fly. yamaha not first other than to the shop!
