QUIT you're Rational thinking MONGERING !!!!!!!!!
You're killing Kenny
"It's a trap!" ~Admiral Ackbar
Nope. You can't trust them. They can't even abide by maritime law with sonaring the Australian Navy divers
That should have been considered an attack, weapons free. R.O.E.
No one trusted each other!
Totally agree, can’t be trusted, they are playing the U.S. for fools. I’m sure the U.S. knows that.
The head of the FBI has just sounded the alarm bell over what they are up to in cyberspace related to critical infrastructure. Let’s be real about the situation.
The chinese PLA has already been trying to infiltrate Indian borders and doing border battles with the Indian military, like actually bloody battles in which both sides have lost dozens of troops
It's important to be able to contact the other side when you are not at war. To this point, peace is the status quo even if one side or the other pushes a boundary that the other one doesn't like. Communication keeps people alive and prevents accidents.
When you are dealing with a rational nation with reasonable goals. This is not one of those cases. China's goal is to defeat and replace the United States first in the Pacific, then the world. Appeasement kills people and ensures accidents.
@@ronaldhunt7617 Disagree. Appeasement is different from communication. Has the US appeased China in the SCS or elsewhere? I don't think they have in a meaningful way, but I'll be corrected if you have receipts. Communication, which the US and USSR maintained during the Cold War, was integral in ensuring that even the most intense standoffs of the last half of the 20th century didn't turn into shooting wars. Communication and appeasement aren't the same thing, and if we act from a position of strength (which the US does currently) then we should always be willing to communicate.
@@Strykenine I agree with you and must emphasize that demonstrating, acting, and communicating from a position of strength is absolutely key. Maintaining our military strength in the region right now is more important than ever, because it's not only our pressure point to deter overt aggression and a hot war, it's an asset to defend and apply pressure against China's hybrid warfare against us, which we know is going to continue unabated and outside the spotlight. There very much is an active war being fought over trade and commerce, regional alliances predicated upon perceived strengths, signals intelligence, disruption/theft/infrastructure cyber attacks, propaganda....the list goes on. Weakness is provocative in every theater.
@@Strykenine Appeasment practically requires communication, the two are not mutually exclusive. We are at war with China right now -correction, China is at war with us.
The recon plane that they damaged during an interception and then held its crew hostage until we apologized while taking it apart and studying it. The undersea drone(towed?) they snared did the same thing with. Defying a Word court and building outposts in the territory of our sworn allies. Their unrelenting infiltration of our government, defense industry, and universities. Setting up "police" stations in the US and allied countries. Using proxies to destabilize the West (Iran, Russia, and North Korea) and distract us. I could doubtless go on but why bother when all you have to do is listen to Xi himself -the entirety of the South China Sea belongs to him, Taiwan belongs to China, and the US must leave and mind its own business.
Now some of the Islands he claims are Japanese others belong to the Philipines both of which we are treaty-bound to defend. Taiwan? If China takes Taiwan it is over, we are Rome 2.0 No satellites, cellphones, computers, or F-35s, you will even have to get up and make your own coffee. So no, I do not think having a phone line so they can get on it and scream how we are violating their territory when we steam a destroyer past a Philippine island at flank speed practically in sight of the Philipines and thousands of miles away from China is of much use.
(Edit)" Appeasement of the Soviet Union is exactly what CAUSED the Cold War. Patton was right to want to deal with the Soviets when we were strong and they were bled white with the US being the only country with nuclear weapons. And MacArthur was right during the Korean War when he wanted to deal with China (before they had nuclear weapons?) Likewise, Chamberlain was wrong and we see the results in millions of deaths that may have been prevented or at least diminished had France and Britain acted as soon as the first German crossed into Austria.
Trust them like you would Japan before Pearl Harbor.
There is no such thing as a pre emptive surprise attack in this day and age. Everyone can detect even a test launch in the desert
@@TelpPovYeah, I believe the government will be alert and protect me. The current administration is actively working to allow sleeper agents in the country via the southern border.
@@TelpPov Oh yeah everyone knows where every Nuclear Ballistic missile submarines are.
@@svartorivigt5016 For pre emptive first strike you are launching a massive attack from land and air, no one is stupid enough to use their nuclear sub as first strike option thereby revealing their approximate location and using up their limited capacity then they’d have to go back to base to reload. SSBNs is purely for retaliatory purposes as to ensure the opponent they will get revenge strike. That is what the nuclear triad is about.
So in real world scenario, US/Japan satellite can monitor entire China for land base nuclear launches and strategic bomber take offs, that’s the extend of China’s first nuclear strike capabilities. Then once U.S. retaliate, then China can keep launching from their subs. No one including the U.S. is launching surprise attack from their subs first. That’s as dumb as it gets by launching first from subs
It is the opposite this time. The US will try a pre-emptive surprise attack against the industrially larger opponent
You will not find another RUclipsr with such a seamless transition between the topic at hand and ad. Bravo! 😂
😂😂😂 perfect
Stand strong Philippines 🇵🇭
At best, be a strong Canon fodder for your boss.
You know why the refused to talk to us. Because we sanction their secretary of defense.
Just a reason that can easily be shrugged off
Communist is communist.
You mean Pandaren is Pandaren. Swap out the mao suits for traditional clothing, nothing changes other then vastly inferior information technology and a greater adherence to a dumb philosophy of Confucianism.
I love the Major General Song!
I am the very model of a modern major general...
Are you,lol. 😉
Pirates of Penzance .........
Trust the Chinese? Nah nah nahhh. I'm not that stupid.
I am Nigerian and can't trust you guys neither.
Yes you are
@notmyself2533 China #1 wow big fleet very super
😂just like no one will trust the US. Not even his allies 😂
Gotto love Sub Brief!
Love from Kristiansand, Norway
I’m just glad they’re talking again and keeping communication lines open. When there isn’t communication and open lines that’s when things can get really bad
Similar talks have happened before, and they’ll happen again, the question is are they going to achieve anything from such talks
Good luck about that, remember australian divers?
To be an enemy of US may be damgerous,to be a friend is fatal.
Just ask Japan
Thanks!
Welcome!
hope he will be ok
I love your optimism but this won't change anything on the long run
The media has been great to dehumanizing others
sorry, china's landmass formed too close to USN. Its coast line should be 2000 miles away from the 7th fleet.
Hey Coast Guard mentioned
Go Lions!
Extra points for the ad read segue.
I just learned you are a F1 fan. I'm pumped for my boys in Papaya this year.
Trust but verify!!!
Spoken like a true Naive westerner that has NO clue about the CCP. There is NO trust, none, zero, to be had with the CCP.
If you like wargaming and like "old school wargaming", you should consider to play "Global War 1936" from Historical Board Gaming. This is a boardgame of epic proportions, huge map, lots of units and a lot of fun to play. As you might guess, this is a boardgame covering World War 2.
I wrote this, because of the advertisement for "Conflict of Nations". Maybe here are some souls who still like to sit down at a table and play with some friends of yours. As I said earlier, "old school". If you are familiar with "Axis and Allies 1940 Global", you will get accustomed with "Global War" easily.
And no, I am not a bot or something like that. I am just an enthusiast regarding this board game.
Thanks to Sub Brief for your ongoing reports on military affairs and for sharing your knowledge and insights.
Farewell!
Love those old board wargames and the ones involving models. Helps you learn history to.
Don’t trust military
West Philippines Sea
We need more talk and coordination, now more than ever. I hope we can continue to normalize and improve relations with our near-peer adverseries. I worry though that the top leadership on both sides, ours and theirs, will not allow this to continue.
Ok fair enough the Lions did a good job in that last game. It was still a game by the end of it but stillthere we a few mistakes I got to shack my head at. But you are right overall a good season. And while not the winners a heck of a change from not even a few years ago.
Talks are only so good if both sides are somewhat sincere. I have doubts of the veracity of the Chinese leadership.
China is playing a long game, and by a different set of rules.
idk, seems to have worked out for the Japanese in the long run.
Great segue 👍
water canons trying to spray in their engine exhaust pipes flooding out the engine !
One thing we should learn about China is? Just because we had a meaningful meeting with them? That doesn’t mean they will follow it up with actions! Philippines know their tactics all too well! What their diplomacy “say” is NOT what their ground policy do!!!
That was a smooth transition to conflict of nations haha❤
Beware the Trogan Horse Aaron
...No ..thats the answer
stop bullying Chinese, and everything goes fine.
I'd trust the Chinese Navy about as much as I'd trust a grizzly bear with its balls on fire.
Trusting them is *insane*.
The track record shows China can’t trust the U.S. in contrary.
Same for you, no one in China trusts the US either.
Why should USA should beg China
Its so cool to see the lions good, im 29 and have never seen it 😂
"Nyet..warsz iz fines all part of the 5 year plan" Also never assume the PLAN will be incompetent. If it comes to a shooting war.
Slight mistake in the video sub brief. At 3:29 that is not Maj Gen Song, that is just the Chinese defense ministry public spokes person, way too young to be a Maj. Gen
What are your thoughts about boeing looking to a former naval nuclear officer for improving their quality control?
Next scapegoat?
It's important that US and China keep contact right after the Taiwan presidential election that DPP secured their regime, which CCP was not very happy (but not very surprise either)
If Taiwan belongs to china as US has agreed to, the Taiwan straight is not international.
A step toward peace, a baby one, but in the right direction.
You mean Surrender?.
Congrats to Detroit Lions for making it to the playoffs. Unfortunately Dan Cambell’s needs to learn that when the points are there for the taking you kick the field goal unless it’s late in the 4th 1/4,& you’re losing😟
Hi Aaron, how many more Ancient Chinese Secrets are we gonna fall for. 🫧🧼
After they defeaned our Aussie brothers?
I don't like to judge a book by its cover, but Dong Jun actually looks like a good dude. Might just be a good picture though.
Dude wtf is going on with us naval assets?
I can get them to stop arleigh burke escort them. Then dare them to intervene.🤔
I was curious what kind of programs you use to record both you and your screen. I’ve been wondering for years.
Computer programs.
You can thank me later.
Bunch of sites and programs. Loom and OBS are top of mind
Audacity
I’ve played call of war for like 5+ years now and I tried world war 3 and if your looking for people to click on the link,
I would say call of war is a lot more beginner friendly and easier on the eye so maby the better option
War Thunder is where it's at.
They have very few hackers ( unlike Combat Arms ).
That we're talking is better than nothing but always pay attention to what they DO, not what they SAY.
Or as Reagan would say, Trust but verify.
And again, Spoken like a true Naive westerner that has NO clue about the CCP. There is NO trust, none, zero, to be had with the CCP.
Go Lions! in 2024
From another RUclipsr: Nations don't have friends, nations have _interests._
We don't have to be friendly at all with the Chinese government/military-- this is the country that arguably commits piracy in every ocean to feed its population and steals islands for military bases-- but we don't have to be launching weapons at them or threatening to, either. It's important to remember this, especially when we have huge corporations who can't wait to make a billion new customers in China and thus allow the Chinese government to control what they can say or do. The current administration calls this a "competition", and it's as good a word as any.
If the Chinese want to be recognized as a modern power, they can start by respecting and following international laws without throwing huge tantrums every time they see something that threatens the government's power.
The last time we “dismissed” someone because we didn’t know anything about their skill set we had 8 battleships crippled with 2 being totaled and we were dragged into a war. We won that war, so hopefully China will know how to read a history book that isn’t based on only Chinas history and leave our boats alone as well as our other assets abroad. As for Sierra Madre, they should probably update and upgrade that old wreck with a proper facility built into that little bit of real estate they have there.
The "next" war will be fought purely with whatever you have on hand at the time. We're not going to have time to build "a new fleet" like we did in WW2. What you've got in your inventory on "Day 1" is what you're going to have to fight it out with. Which is why people are so concerned about both manpower and materiel issues in the fleet right now. If we had to "go to war" right now, the first "Constellation Class" FFG wouldn't be done anywhere in time...we've got only the LCS classes. China would literally eat our lunch right now.
@@pastorjerrykliner3162 true, luckily we already have over a dozen aircraft carriers, numerous hunter killer subs and a potent ABM battery to shoot down anything thrown at us.
Just no, This stuff is so mentally exhausting there is so much I want to say here but what is the point? For once the rest of the comment section has this one on lockdown il leave it to them.
They will ALL be very accommodating in 12 months ……… or they will be a wet spot in the road, and they know it.
They know they are an export nation and all their bluster about being able to survive without the West is just that.
😊❤
If you don't know about a submarine that means that they did a good job 😮
rimpac 2024 is on again
When you start talking about sponsors, I know this video is demonetized and is going to talk about something important.
To the Red Chinese: Don't start none, won't be none. or FAAFO.
Are these meetings good? Will China actually be forthcoming in providing actual information to the USA or is this a PR stunt.
oh, the pentagon could have been a gigantic skyscraper,
but instead it's just a foundation
Spoilers: no.
China is much less of a threat than the Soviet Union was, even though the CCCP ascended in to the realm of bureaucracy after the death of Stalin it could easily overrun Europe and pose a serious threat to world order. China however is surrounded by opponents, has a counter balance with India, has major weaknesses with the lack of oil and gas and unlike the CCCP, China depends on the world market to provide employment and happiness to 1.4 billion people. Russia always has a highly obedient population, China dose not. It might look scary 1.4 billion people but man if you piss them off all hell will break loose and the Communist party of China knows all too well how fast things can change, look at how COVID lockdowns ended, it wasn't the Communist party that made the call, no no, it was the people of China, they held up the white protest signs and turned against the authorities forcing on the Communist Party to end it all no matter the cost and after massive investments in to COVID. The USA has nothing to worry about. Russia is checked and China is not a threat. Enjoy life.
Worst case, freaking worse case, we lose trade with China, we get major inflation and shortages of junk and electronics, interest rates are hiked to the sky, asset values fall and people roll up their sleeves and get back to manual labor. Have you never poured molten metal in to a mold? Have you ever wired electronics? It's easier than a Tech or Office job. Ok really, it will just make half the world very happy to take over exports to the west, the list of countries waiting to dethrone China is pretty long.....
peace with China? well as long as you remember that for China that means recognizing China is superior, China is key, whatever China says will go.. get the idea- they play the long game-, Friends? well friends as with North Korea or Russia - same thing
don't start with the clickbait stuff 🖤
Austin was AWOL for a week and no one in the Biden administration noticed. Doesn’t seem like he’s that influential
Hey china can you say reverse engineering 😅
Can you not say H*** on here? Oh no, you cant! H*** H*** See!
Can I ask a question how does the U.S navy defend against suicide drone boats that are destroying the Russian navy. Also what kind of drone boats does U.S have
Probably much more advanced CIWS and radar capabilities.
……dong..😂
I’d like to think this all started when a USN sailor and a PLAN sailor saw each other in a bar, nodded and said “sup,” then started making plans for their chiefs to hang out at a barbecue, and so on
Munchen 2.0
We don't need to meet with anyone from China. Maritime law, which the Chinese have signed, is already in force. As for China 'bothering' Philipino fishermen, that's easy, too. Stop! Or suffer the consequences. Meeting with them at this time shows weakness.
Besides, it's been demonstrated that China says one thing and does another....all the time.
Americans have no right to talk about maritime law. your congress didn't approve it, your navy perfom so called navigation freedom operations that based on 3 mile territorial sea. Fix your mistakes mentioned above, then you may have the moral high ground to talk about maritime law, but poisoned by US exceptional mindsets for decades I deeply doubt that you will really follow the rule based game.
Wut
Like the Soviets, the President Xi (CCP) has now realised that West Taiwan cannot outspend the USA. Evergrande, local government debt in mainland is off the charts.
haha, That is a funny question. The Chinese Navy will never get along with the US Navy until it disappears from North East Asia. The US Navy couldn't fight a bunch of Yemeni farmers who are blockading the US shipping traffic. It just tells you how weak the US Navy is. Why didn't the US Navy deploye LCS after spending billions on these ships? It is because these billion-dollar ships are ineffective in combat.
LCS fleets have been decommissioned within 5 years of being built because of hull cracking and constant drive line failures.
US is extremely dependent on outside countries for metals and outside countries don't give quality materials for sanctionable worthless non gold backed paper dollars.
Don't buy it at all.
Nah, nuke em
Its super weird how people claim to be so concerned with equality and human rights and yet they rampage about Gaza, which is a logical result of a ruthless mass murder of civilians in Israel, yet they just don’t seem to care about China’s Uyghur Muslim genocide or the all-male ruling class of China among many, many other very concerning things.
Because " Israel " is " god chosen people " and everyone else is 💩 on this planet. 😁

Ask the people of Medina how it works out when you take the word of your enemy to not attack you.....Stalin didn't learn that lesson either.....
I think the question really is "Can you trust china to make peace with them?"
Look at their actions and what they don't want you to look at, not their flowery words and what they do want you to look at. That is how you can determine that.
I guess the real question is can my country Nigeria and the rest of the global south trust the devilish USA ?
@@rh906 ok so I looked at China's actions and it doesn't look like they've fought any wars for 45 years. How many wars has the US fought in since 1979?
You know that the recent corruption purges (still ongoing) and credibility issues (using rocket fuel for cooking and heating and replacing it with water) of the PLA is very very serious when they decided to sit down and talk 😂
Rocket Fueled Fried Chicken yummy 😋
