I had broken up with my girlfriend of 13 years and finally felt comfortable and confident enough to become my authentic self. My ex then pursued me and asked me to marry her ❤️ but it was a lie 💔. She simply missed my financial support ( she doesn't work ) and I broke it off again. I do miss her sometimes but I gotta be me. I have sympathy for someone who gets hurt by their partners transition but be true to yourself! 💖

Thanks for this video Sam! I think there needs to be more resources for cis partners out there.

I’m a feminist I don’t know how I feel about this trans thing anymore I thought I was trans because of abuse and trauma and internalized misogyny but feminism kinda helped me! I feel like being trans is wrong now idk

There are definitely cases where unresolved trauma may lead to people seeing transitioning as an escapist solution. I do see that there is a taboo within the trans community when it comes to talking about these cases where a desire to transition stems from unresolved issues not relating to gender dysphoria and that is extraordinarily dangerous. That said, legitimate trans people and legitimate suffering as a result of gender dysphoria are also very real and it is important to acknowledge that as well. Trans joy is real as I have seen before my eyes the very real joys of gender affirmation my trans friends (MtF, FtM, and in between) have experienced as a result of medical transition.
