The Apex has internal rechargeable batteries fitted, the charging port is on the right hand side of the scope. The smaller batteries that are fitted to the top of the scope are a back up and only last for one hour. Happy shooting

My 1st alpex did have a CR123 my 2nd one did not have CR123 thay have stopped putting them in. It has an inbuilt battery.
Hi Chris, my alpex came with a charging cable and the small back up batteries 2 off.
None with this one
@@chrisparkin431 the 45 (90 my bad) degre cable is the charging cable. You need a plug or a USB port for charging.

The 123 battery is a extra it has a built-in battery to that you charge
sooo! you have to buy the mount for the cheetah as an extra ? it don't come in the box.
Charge the scope through the tight cover in the "windage" position - the charge lasts for ages and I've never needed to use the top backup battery. Maybe a case of RTFM?? 😂
