I have to give a thumbs up and respect to Kimchi for releasing the files, free of charge. Once again I thank you Bradley for bringing us a blaster that I wouldn't have discovered otherwise. I love my 'standard' Lynx but am definitely printing a Slynx. I think I will have to do a bit of research on finding a compatible spring for here in the USA as it looks like it might be too expensive getting one from Carousell.
It basically an extended Long shot spring. Here are the specs in metrics: Wire 2.2mm x OD 30mm x L 250mm x Coils 20- 270fps Wire 2.3mm x OD 30mm x L 250mm x Coils 20 - 300fps if you find this useful pls pay it fwd by making a donation to your charity of choice . Merry Xmas to you and happy holidays.
This is amazing! I love my lynx and it’s my favorite blaster I own. If Worker or some other company would make an injection molded Slynx (hopefully styled like the harrier), then I wouldn’t care if it cost $300; I would just give them my moneys!
I love my Lynx that I got from Silverfox Industries here in the states. I agree with you, if someone makes an injection molded or metal Lynx or Slynx I would gladly buy it.
Showing air volume of all those blasters was exactly what i was looking for! Do you know the volume of the harrier/seagul or any other popular blasters not on ur list at 3:20
I heard someone is working on a Lynx AEB. If that’s possible then hopefully it could be done with this. Re injection molded, I got a unicorn last year and it got me hooked on reinforced nylon. Also it came in white but that’s ideal because then you can dye it any color at all, which ends up more durable than any paint
I think if the plastic parts were injection molded with an aluminum cap or insert for the sling mounts with an aluminum trigger, you’d have a fairly affordable easy to mass produce product that would be highly sought after.
If it was made injection molded with the same quality as a Worker Harrier or Seagull I think it would be incredibly popular. The other issue it has currently besides being 3D printed is that no one is selling it, so it's hard for people to access.
Im stuck.. everything is good to go except the trigger/ sear mechanism. when I install the sear it forces the trigger all the way back in the "fired" position. I cant figure out how to fix this issue, please help if you have any insight.
Hey I think you should do an accuracy vid using the same bcar. You are using that 18 bearing bcar with the apex prime, but only a 12 or 15 bearing bcar with the harrier, slynx, or even kirin. Assuming that the apex prime is more accurate, but having the prime be the only blaster to use that $115, 18-bearing bcar seems like faulty testing.
I used the BCAR recommended and provided by Kimchi. But yes, a $115 BCAR is going to perform pretty much the same with every blaster given the same velocity and darts.
It definitely could, the original could handle a 20kg. You'd need an even longer barrel to make the most of that though which kinda takes away from the good part of this blaster.
@@seniorxj2931, the platform was designed to max out at 300fps because that is the FPX cap which we typically play for high FPS game over in Singapore. If you would like more Juice, try the Lonx. My other go to highblaster blasters are Sabre Xgenesis, perhaps you can consider the Apex Prime if you are after FPS and if you do not mind if it is not a bullpup.
I printed all of the parts on an Anykubic Kobra. Waiting on hardware to fully assemble but everything seems to fit perfect and the Kobra is a fraction of the price of an X1C@@Ric_1-t9e
Super cool Brad thanks, would really love one but dont have a 3d printer 😭 so the Apex might be the better option for my primary sniper but for cqb dont know if itll be small enough??...unless i find someone in NSW that can help me get my hands on Slynx tyen best of both worlds?
@@L6Kevin-s5j Yeah, but that was IP theft - Dan from Orion didn't license that design. It's not like Shellington Labs getting the Kirin made, or Captain Slug licensing the Caliburn to Worker.
Oh yh, not just the licensed Caliburn from Worker(that was only half injection molded)@@blakbuzzrd The same company that made the unlicensed lynx also made a fully injection molded caliburn as well as a zinc 1.0
I believe the Lonx is even longer than the Slynx from what I hear, so a little more power at the expense of having a longer blaster and longer barrel to utilise it.
they are custom specs for Slynx but I have released the specs in response to the comment above. You can consider getting your local manufacturer to produce them to you. I have them on my carousell if you are keen, but they are out of stock. Don't recommend you get these spring unless it is for a Slynx.

That first shot on the accuracy test, though! Whoo!
the one and a half banaanas had me laughing. the sd is impressive
singapore pride!!!!
All aluminum BCARS should be designed with that clamping mechanism. It's fantastic. Using set screws or friction fitting sucks.
Man I really need a printer. I love my Lynx and this looks like a really awesome improvement.

I printed a Lynx in full nylon carbon fiber and nylon glass filled. I am tempted to make one of these in those materials
so am I

Is it possible to modify a Lynx into a Slynx by swapping the Kimchi-modded parts in for the originals?
of course the singapore mod is a bullpup, it's what we're trained on!

Brad, did you share with Sabre? How awesome would a Sabre APEX bullpup be!?
I got a Lynx because of you, Bradley.
I’m going to get one of these, too.
I wonder how hard it will be to source the hardware in the U.S.?
Good question, would definitely be harder for you I think
I need some time to convert the some parts to imperial so that you guys in US can start your own build.
Could you be kind enough to post a link for a metric hardware kit for my lynx. Can this slynx be built with original lynx 3d parts. Cheers in advance

Hey Bradley, where do you find generic (non-threaded) barrels of that length? (i.e. 600mm+)
Do we know if and when full hardware kits will be available for the Slynx?
No we don't, currently you can only print it yourself and source the hardware yourself
For any changed hardware , it would be nice to know for building
I don't understand your question. Do you mean swap it from Metric to Imperial?
The files explain the different hardware, but I am not quite sure what different pieces I should get to construct it
I’m completely ignorant. What kind of 3D printer is needed to print a blaster like this?
probably fdm

Oh, who?
@BradleyPhillipsYT I will ask them they are in Malaysia. I will let you know on Discord.
Where did u find the spring its the last piece of the puzzle I cannot find
Best to ask Kimchi, he sent it to me already assembled
China did make a 50 dollor injection molded lynx. rlly light, has built in return spring and does also have metal upgrade parts. it's called 山猫

Haven't used it since I got the Sweetheart Storm. Kinda made it redundant.
Is anyone aware if the hardware from the China injection lynx will work in this?
If it's the same specs as a regular Lynx then no, this blaster is longer so most parts are also longer.

A dollar for how many times he slamfired in this video.
Not a single shot in this video was slamfire. For every dart fired there was a corresponding trigger reset and pull.

Pretty sure it's the national unit of measurement there.
