Moved to Santa Cruz in '93 after moving from Oahu to Silicon Valley .. .. what the f##k was I thinking !? Had to bag San Hose me, it more than sucked. Started riding in SC n dove in hard - De LaViega, Wilder, UC-Henry Cowell- Empire Grade n The demo Forest. But the Aptos Post Office jumps stood out cause they morphed n got bigger n bigger n boy did I eat shit repeatedly ! Saw uor Tyler there once or twice. I pile drove into the bottom up at greyhound rock n split 8" of scalp open n Aug of '06 but didn't KO, on a meager south swell n rearranged my neck vertibrae. Moved up to Hood River in November to get back on my feet, where ma n da retired after 50+ yrs on the north shore Of Oahu, my home. Riding n jumping became my surf replacement n the local area is filled with trail n HRATS - Hood River Area Trail Stewards - have n are putting alot of dirt jump trail n features of all kinds. I can't get enough !! Peace n aloha !! Ride Jump or Wither !! Jeriatric Jump Club !!
