Hi, the stone was used for many of the prestigious buildings in London as well as many of the country’s cathedrals. Most of the caves I entered had been used for camping. It seems it’s quite a magnet for people possibly doing overnighters with most of them used frequently to have fires in and the odd beer or two going by some of the rubbish I witnessed
Just happened upon your channel and was wondering what they used the stone for from that quarry? What kind of stone is it? It looks like someone was living there in the one spot with what looked like the leather and the fire pit.
