This movie brings to light the unsung role played by the extras. There are 6 plus 4 male and female extras who feature in most of the shots. All are tremendously talented and have added to the dynamic nature of the songs. Take for instance the lady who appears in the song sequence at 1:12 (white dress in the right side of the screen) and also at 2:04 to 2:12 leading the female line and dancing at the left of the screen. I watched her through the whole movie and marvelled at her dancing, expressive face and supple movements. I wonder who she is and how old now if still alive. I have loved this woman across space and time, having just seen her shadow flit across the B&W screen that somehow conveyed to me a vibrant person. Let us celebrate the non stars of bollywood. Without them our stars will loose most of their glitter.
