Thanks, I have found some helmet pins, original and reproduction so will do a comparison video. Also will change the ones in the refurbished M42 for better quality reproductions in the same video. Will try do this next weekend. All the best the blitz boys 👍
Great comparison video boys, I've never really thought about the shell size and the larger reproduction, very good info. The reproduction liner looks like a czech post war helmet liner.....good video and the book is also definitely something a collector should have😊😊😊😊
Nice video - I have a pretty bad fake M42... no maker mark even!!! it sits in the garage :) When I get a real M42 I'll do a comparison too... the number stamping is so bad you can see it from the outside of the helmet!
Thanks. Yeah reenactors and new collectors who don't have the money to buy an original. They make all three WW2 models and look ok for what they are. Alex likes them as he can wear them and it doesn't matter if drops them etc.
