Common sense at last. Charging top price for an open air stand in winter was a very poor decision. Plus, the fan zone should always have been available to everyone in the kop end. The club have listened to the fans and acted accordingly. Good decision.
Im so glad to hear of this news. It really sucks they opted for this. If they had to pay for the permits, licenses, etc. for the fan zone, they should have just opened it to everyone and baked a slight upcharge in the food and beverage prices, imo.
@@WrexhamAFCfanzone 🤔Well shall we make a list? Let's see, how about player injuries, how well other players are performing. Then there is that park fiasco, plus the stadium rebuild, plus...... 😂 Okay, will say. I think team management is doing a pretty good job overall. From what you have shown us of the earlier history of Wrexham FC and some of the skullduggery, previous ownership and management have committed. Fanzone was nothing by comparison!
The same people who demanded that the fan zone should be free are the same people who will complain if we don’t end up over-paying for a mediocre at best striker in the Jan transfer window.
Look, I know you don’t have the same economy as the USA does, but what you guys pay for a seat is nothing compared what we pay to see our home town team. One game costs as much as season tickets to see Wrexham. When I learned what your tickets cost, I couldn’t believe it. No offense to anyone.
True but also this is 3rd division football not Premiership. Premier league is more on par with NFL and NBA status. You wouldn’t be paying that much for minor league baseball tickets.
Pleas be careful what you say about us, what we pay is not 'nothing' for many of us £32 is a lot of money, wages in and around North Wales are not great and bills have rocketed in the last 2 years leaving a lot of fans no choice but to not pay out for a game especially when you factor in kids, travel etc, it really is a no brainer, and extra meal or 2 on the table or go to a football match
Wages are not as high here and also unemployment. Cost of living has rocketed and for people with kids it is a lot of money to pay. You can't really compare the USA to Wrexham because it not a like any shape or form.
Thank you. It's about time too.
You're welcome

Took them a while but at least they did. Maybe all the takings have no paid for the expense of putting it up.

There were plenty of ways to keep it free. Other clubs in our league manage it and they don't even have the revenue that Wrexham has.
Thanks!
Thanks very much, Kenneth. Really appreciated along with your support.
Free Fanzone !!!! 🙏🙏🙏🍻🍻🍻🏴🏴🏴🏆🏆🏆
Great news, best for families and the team. Now more fans will return and offer more support.
Tom, have you bought any of those fanZone tickets? If so, I want the scarf!!
No because I have a season ticket for another stand but I might go in for a look once they open it up to the other stands too.
Yes, the fanzone was badly done from the beginning! Glad that is was finally fixed.
What will we have to moan about now? LOL

Not going to happen, the complaining or the mediocre striker.
Still not changed on club website
Hope nobody is still booking then.
Extra tenner to sit in a seat with no roof on in the Welsh winter….no chance, glad the powers that be fixed it…..
I know it was madness.

Very true, Roy.
Prices are ridiculous here. I feel sorry for the poor pensioners which will freeze to death this winter and families using food banks.
