Very impressive! This stuff is all definitely the future. Lots of maintenance on that machine I bet. How do you guys calculate the payback on that machine. Obviously one tree at a time? Looks like a dauntingly massive expense. Gotta spend it to make it though.
Hi there !! I'm from the UK and any chance of having a go with that truck !!! It looks so much fun!!! Lol I operate a PM 100 at the moment but just have a hook on the end of mine !!
@@propertyservices1 there might be. But with the extreme levels of weight and leverage created it would take a seriously beefed up joint to hold a 3k lb log upright. I'd love to see it though.
@@treeman765 I seen that too. That's a bad ass machine. I believe that with a low boy trailer be king of the streets. Lol. 400k new for the 110ft one. I believe it's better choice than the fassi 600 I was looking towards. It was 700k new
I've been climbing for 35 years wish they had that back on the day good job fun to watch tree work is a hard lifestyle keep cutting
4:37 seems like that log was going hit the boom 🤯
That’s what I was thinking.
The hardest part for me so far has been getting the limb off of the tree smoothly
Merlo 50.35 is a beast too .

What is the weight of your bik tc-170
I absolutely hate those sena headsets wish there was a better system
Why let the topple over if there is dead pieces that can fall off ? Do u have the option to just cut and hold limbs upright as it was in the tree ? ?
These joints on these grapple saws aren't strong enough to hold that much weight upright.
@@gamiensrule that's interesting. I'd assumed they would already had a fix for that . I guess it's not a very needed function

Check out videos of the Merlo Roto with a Woodcracker head, they will make cuts and hold limbs like your talking about
