"Men in Black" is one of the most famous Hollywood franchises. The first film in the series, released in 1997, grossed $590 million against a $90 million production budget. The release was successful, comparable to films such as "Pirates of the Caribbean." But unlike “Pirates,” the second “Men in Black” film couldn't solidify the franchise’s success. The sequel's plot went through multiple changes before reaching its final version. Despite having a significantly higher budget, the film grossed $440 million at the box office. After this, the studio decided to slow down and only released the third film ten years later.

It would have been way better than the messy International. Hemsworth is okay in the movie but Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill would've been funnier and more appealing than Tessa Thompson.

The first movie was funny and repugnant, the second one was funny and repugnant, the third one was very repugnant. MIB International was funny amd not as repugnant as the others.
