  • Testing a technique to make 3D, like snow inside the postprocess shader.
    Got DOF working in Wicked Engine DX11 version :)

    Brilliant work - as usual. Hows the performance? It''s hard to tell if it is struggling or not from the video, but looks a little choppy. Still, looks great.

      It is really fast and perfectly smooth here, but yes looks like the recording is ruin it , wait until you can try it yourself looks superb :)

    Is this a depth of field test or a new snow effect?

      Both, there have always been a problem with DOF in the old wicked engine DX11 that's why it was never added to MAX, I fixed that and will add it to MAX shortly. The snow is also new and still wip, I like to also add depth buffer support to it :)

      @@MakingGames It looks a lot better than the current snow. Max seems a fair bit speedier as well thanks to your optimisation work!
