I’m going to be credit card debt free on the 15th of this month so It will make things a lot easier to save and budget All of my money :) this was very helpful and easy to follow.
I get paid weekly but I save the entire amount and "pay" myself that amount at the beginning of the following month. This has helped out immensely because I have all my utility bills charged on my credit card (I pay it in full when I receive the bill), so I already know what my bills vs pay will be. Oh....another bunch of pretty envelopes you've come up with! Great video!
Thanks again, very clear. I can tell there was a lot of trial and error to get to your beautiful finished products! Mapped out so that anyone can understand.
♥️ Love this video sooooo much❣️ I’m So glad to be part of the tbm group! 😍 can’t wait to get the new books and resources the box 📦 that it’ll come in is beautiful 😍
Thank you for sharing. I find your videos so informative and helpful. I myself use my credit card to pay for everything but my regular bills. This helps me to accumulate points and helps to fund vacations. I am attempting to incorporate my ideas with your budget ideas which are great! So with that said I have been waiting for you to hit a particular point. You came close for this video....If your electric bill would have been $200.... and you would have needed to tap into the cushion in the checking, how do you mark that on your paperwork without it appearing to be extra income. Since you have already counted it when you put it in the checking account. Thanks again!!
Oh my!!! You are AMAZING! You are totally motivating me! I am so glad I stumbled upon your channel! Thank you for sharing your knowledge! 💗 👋 Hello, from Idaho! 😀
I purchased your pdf budget workbook but I much prefer this cash envelope breakdown worksheet rather than what's in the new notebook of just the teller slips.. I love this worksheet because it's a visual tally that I could quickly count up for the teller slip. Do you still offer this worksheet on your website? I have tried looking for it with no luck. Thank you for your help and wonderful videos. I've been having a lot of fun putting together my budget binder.
I will be interested to see how you like the once monthly income. Maybe after several months you can give us your thoughts on monthly versus bi- monthly payday schedules. This is my very first month budgeting and you have been a huge influence for me! Thank you!
Hello! I am CLEARLY late to the party, but this was super helpful! The only part that wasn't clear to me was when you 'saved' some of the leftover money in the envelope (i.e. in miscellaneous you had $14, so you 'saved' the $10 and left the $4 in there). Where are you putting those savings? Do they go somewhere specific every time, or does it vary based on where you are focusing? A savings acct, extra debt, added to your sinking funds so you reach your goals faster? Any other savings challenges? Thank you for all of your explanations!
I was looking at purchasing your budget work book, but I did not see the new Pack Check Bill Tracker in the set of pictures showing what's included in the work book. I was wondering if the new format was what would come with the purchase of if it's the previous format.
Thank you so much for your videos! I am a new subscriber and have been watching a couple different youtubers trying to figure out which method would work for me. This "transition" video is extremely helpful in understanding your philosophy and applying it as well. Thank you!
Thank you so much, finally someone who makes sense and doesn’t make you feel guilty for the mess you are in. When I worked out all my bills and cash envelopes I can actually save $800 to $1000 a month. I notice you didn’t put anything aside for clothes/shoes for you and your little boy.
Hi! I just as of yesterday bought your 2019 budget workbook. But the paycheck bill tracker page is different then this layout and I like this layout much better- I love that it has a spot for sinking funds. Is there a way to choose this way instead, without having to spend another $30?
Thank you for another great video, Kumiko! As for your cushion, when the cushion is finally worth of $1,000, do you remove this expense ($80) from your bills table (until you need to re-fill it back to $1K, of course)?
Great and informative video. You are very easy to listen to because you are so articulate and you enunciate and I appreciate that. I was going to comment that I thought you could have used to cut down the explanations at some points but it appears that it's helping other people so that's better than leaving people confused. Good job working towards those savings goals! I have been taking a long hard look at our finances this year and really challenging myself to find more money to throw at our long term savings. We are receiving a substantial hike in income later this year and I want to make sure that I have a plan for it so that it doesn't end up getting "nickle and dimed" away.
I started my sinking funds based upon your method, and i am now 1 month in. I really love your detailed explanation of everthing. However i was wondering if you might do a video on what to do if you find yourself a little out of balance or low on funds for the month? You have inspired me to really get my finsnces in check.
I've watched this video a couple times now and am still confused on where the left over envelope money goes? for example, the Gas envelope you had $56 left over, you took $6 out for the next months envelope then you said you saved the $50. Where did the $50 go?
What savings account did you put the money that wasn't rolled over in? I'm so glad to be back on the budget scene I gotta side tracked and discouraged but I'm slowly coming back out of it.
Great video. My question is would I need to do this if I really don't have any spending going on except fixed bills and debt repayment. I've basically put myself on nearly complete spending restrictions. Also, how do I determine how much to budget for sinking funds? And is there a list of what constitutes each cash envelope category? I buy beauty type stuff and dog food w/ my groceries. I'm confused on how to handle this stuff
Hi! And thank you! ? Do you pay “yourself first” before you figured out how much you would pay yourself monthly as a business owner? Im trying to figure this out myself as I am a new biz owner- This will be my 1st month using the BBP planner and Im ready to go! 🙌
I will be leaving my job and working from home as well in June...how do you know the income amount will be the exact same each month if you work for yourself? Wouldn't it be different each month depending on the income/sales etc we do? I plan to continue my Etsy shop while teaching online from home Love your videos! Keep them coming!!
RaeDanaeDesigns she probably has been making and average amount each month. She low balls her budget per month to have a certain budget for her personal monthly paycheck and a business budget.
I know this is old but I just want to ask why you can not just put a line on the cash envelope and start a new month as to not waste the envelope? Then just replace when full. Or then use your card inserts
Hi Miko....this video is so relatable to me because of the two paydays a month....Question: I see that you pay your first week bills in the previous month so does that mean that you start your expense tracking on your first paycheck of the month instead of the first of the month (relating to March)?
I love your videos! I will be starting on April 1st and I can’t wait! Should I wait for the workbook release or buy the one you have listed now? What are the differences? I can’t wait until the kids go to bed so that I can sit and watch this video 💕
Thanks so much for your quick reply! Is the downloadable version getting a makeover as well? I am equipped to print off at home so I do not need it mailed. Shipping to Canada is usually pretty pricey anyways. Thanks!
I noticed that everything is by the dollar. I may have missed it, but what do you do with the change? Do you round up on money spent to the nearest dollar and stash the change somewhere?
Hello, wondering the same thing about the leftover money from the previous month envelope. When she said "save", did she mean it went to one of her sinking fund envelopes?
but dear y u not save de money whch is left over from last monthly i mean watever 20 dollar etc save from last month u should transfr dt mony to savng acct.. just a suggestng othrws u done best in budgt 👌🏼
Love the new trackers!!! Right up my bullet journal alley 😍 Question, say you have X amount of money left over to roll into the next month for a bill at the first of the month, would you just track that on your last paychecks of the month tracker? I know every dollar has to have a job so I’m curious as to what you’d suggest ☺️
I know you are transitioning, but have you thought about have one house savings amount now, rather than two at two different times? I would think you could go online and make that change to happen at the beginning of the month and if in a interest bearing account means you earn interest earlier on the that second deposit.
I love how detailed you are because it makes it so much easier to follow and understand your methods. I definitely want to try this and subbed to your vids! I do wonder, when you have leftover in last months cash envelopes and you rollover the change, what do you do with the other amount? The 50s or 20s or 100s you had leftover? Is it placed into savings and how do you decide which one?
I am wondering this also. Love how the budget is in "real" numbers so I can follow not astronomical amounts . So much easier to manage on an average income.
Can I give a idea why try a short term CD bonds I saw one for $1,000 at 6 months forgot what rate it was. CD bonds start at 6 months and go up from there and also rates will vary
I love your videos but I am still struggling. How would you budget if there are two incomes with a paycheck coming in every Thursday? Also, I have to be one month a head correct?
What did you do with the leftover money from February cash envelopes that you did not roll over to March? You said you saved it, but did you physically deposit it back into the bank? Did you allocate it to the house savings, or do you have another envelope where you are saving?
I just purchased the workbook digital download however the sinking funds pages you show in this video are not part of it. Any chance those are available to us who have purchased the workbook?
My hubby and I had the same set up a few years ago. I used the bi-weekly for all scheduled bills, and the weekly for our spending cash. I wasn't as detailed as Miko is, but it worked at the time! HTH...
I’m going to be credit card debt free on the 15th of this month so It will make things a lot easier to save and budget All of my money :) this was very helpful and easy to follow.
Your free resource library is unbelievable!! Definitely earned my subscription! ❤️🙌 thanks girl!
Everytime I see your videos it more explanatory. Baby steps I don't get paid as much as you but I do my best.
I get paid weekly but I save the entire amount and "pay" myself that amount at the beginning of the following month. I know I'm kind of off topic but does anybody know a good place to watch newly released series online?
@Miles Fox i use FlixZone. Just google for it =)
@Miles Fox i use flixzone. You can find it by googling =)
I loved this video!!! For some reason this was so much more clear than the other ones! Thanks for the inspiration!!

Your sinking fund envelopes are TOO ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love how they are so festive!!!!

Where would you pull money for other bdays, wedding or baby shower gifts?
I have a question.. I noticed all of your cash amounts seem to be in full dollars. What do you do with the coins?
I know this is old but I just want to ask why you can not just put a line on the cash envelope and start a new month as to not waste the envelope? Then just replace when full. Or then use your card inserts
Thank you for this! I have been struggling with a once a month budget and this video has given me some wonderful ideas.
If my husband and I get a paycheck every week, should we just do a monthly budget to make it easier like you do yours?
Hi Miko....this video is so relatable to me because of the two paydays a month....Question: I see that you pay your first week bills in the previous month so does that mean that you start your expense tracking on your first paycheck of the month instead of the first of the month (relating to March)?

I watched your video and loved your budget sheets, how do I get the sheets you have. great video.
What kind of paper do you use for your envelopes? It looks thick. Did you say that particular paycheck bill tracker sheet will be available soon?
When you stuffed the cash envelopes, do you put the larger bills back into your savings account? Or do you apply it somewhere else?
So where does the extra money go that you save from your envelopes go if your only rolling over the small bills?
That's what I was wondering too...
For your sinking fund accounts (minus Christmas) is that you saving for the whole year to prepare for next year?
Hi Kumiko! Where do you track the money saved from the cash envelopes of preview month, and the money from the challenge?
Hello, wondering the same thing about the leftover money from the previous month envelope. When she said "save", did she mean it went to one of her sinking fund envelopes?
I loved this video. When the new one is available on your website to buy it.?
Do you use a new envelope each month? How come you don't put the extra left over cash towards your savings goal of buying a house?
Another great one. My savings video is my biggest so I might need to make a video on budgets too
Love your videos on Instagram
& I’m loving your RUclips videos! Just shared this with my sisters and friends! Thanks :)
What do you do with the money saved from your sinking funds? Does that go to your house fund?
but dear y u not save de money whch is left over from last monthly i mean watever 20 dollar etc save from last month u should transfr dt mony to savng acct.. just a suggestng othrws u done best in budgt 👌🏼

Can u share how u watch tv w Hulu n internet. I'm trying to cut off direct tv to save money
Will the paycheck bill tracker be available somewhere for us to use too?
Can I give a idea why try a short term CD bonds I saw one for $1,000 at 6 months forgot what rate it was. CD bonds start at 6 months and go up from there and also rates will vary
Your budget envelops are beautiful. Where did you get them? Thanks for your great videos!
Did you make your envelopes or did you buy them? Are they cardboard or paper?
Great Video! Did you do a checking cushion, while paying off debt?
I love your videos but I am still struggling. How would you budget if there are two incomes with a paycheck coming in every Thursday? Also, I have to be one month a head correct?
THE BUDGET MOM thank you.... excuse me while I go buy some of your cute envelopes ❤️
I bought the workbook printable before watching this video. For people that already bought the workbook, will we get an updated bill tracker?
Jessica Pinones Same!! I would have loved to get the newer version instead
Quick question how do we get the updated paycheck tracker?
What did you do with the leftover money from February cash envelopes that you did not roll over to March? You said you saved it, but did you physically deposit it back into the bank? Did you allocate it to the house savings, or do you have another envelope where you are saving?
c finn I’m wondering the same thing. I would think that you add it to your big savings goal.
Congrats on your changes and your success
Loving your content!!😍
Yes!
How much do you spend in printing envelopes?
Love your videos! May I ask where you purchased the Paycheck Bill Tracker?
She designed it but the new version is not available to purchase yet until later this month but she does have another version on her website 😊
@@melanie_pl Thank you!

I'm having trouble finding the worksheet she uses to break down which bills to get from the bank, anyone know where to find it?
What computer program can I use to change my design on my envelopes?
Dónde compras los sobres
What are you doing about taxes?
I dont see these budget sheets on your website
Why do you have two categories for House Savings under Bills?
She said it automatically comes out of her account two times because that’s how it was set up when she was getting paid twice a month.
I just purchased the workbook digital download however the sinking funds pages you show in this video are not part of it. Any chance those are available to us who have purchased the workbook?
Where can I print that template out from?
What do you do with the money you are saving every Friday in March?
New subbie here ❤❤❤❤
Have you called your insurance companies to lower your bills? I save hundreds every year by just shopping around and calling to ask if i xan pay less!
I need to figure out 2 paychecks, my hubby gets paid weekly, and I get paid bi-weekly.
My hubby and I had the same set up a few years ago. I used the bi-weekly for all scheduled bills, and the weekly for our spending cash. I wasn't as detailed as Miko is, but it worked at the time! HTH...
How far are you on your house goal?
