1. no need to disconnect ball joints to lower. unecessary work. 2. all dampers don't auto-extend, only ones with gas or oil/gas mix. oil only will not move by themselves. 3. there are more outer splines than inner (29/31), subtle changes need to be don on outers only, or a combo of inner & outer.
That's what I was thinking, I don't think the offset of the wheel is great either...... so I'm probably going 2 put some stock tires on them just 2 see how they fit.... now the car sits lower I kinda dig the turtles so I might be spending some time cleaning them up.
Yea mine doesn't ride bad even on the bumps I need 2 pull them and see how much lower it goes I'm probably going 2 have 2 lower the rear. I've been thinking about some adjustable spring plates
Good video. Haven't seen one from you in a while. Last one was the hard start and starter. I wonder if my 71 fastback was dropped a inch or two? Seems lower than Penelope did before you dropped it. When I have passengers it rubs slightly when turning sharp. I have stock tires on it. Still rides great. Good video. She is looking great.
Definitely sounds lowered a couple notches! I've got stock tires on and no running but I'm definitely on the bump stops so I need 2 cut them down. Thanks for checking out the vid!
Damn, that stance dude!
Definitely looking a lot better!
Looks much better. Gotta do a lot of measuring to find the widest tires possible
Yeah I kinda jumped in thinking it was all gonna work out lol 😂

Short axles are the answer to making those tires fit

stance looks great, buddy! I dropped my fronts 3 and the rears 2. Pretty low, I know. and rides like garbage too haha.

You missed a good show today. The stance looks good.
Yeah wish I would've run up 2 that Trav said it was a really good show.

Looks like mines I lowered it 2 clicks up front and still stock at rear
Nice! 😜 I'm debating some adjustable spring plates for the rear of mine.
That’s a good idea I never thought about it and you don’t have to mess with the torsion bar just adjust the plate
@@reinaldorivera4158 that's what I'm thinking and you can really dial it in for the exact stance you're going for.
Cut the bump stops, don’t fully remove them.
That's what I'm thinking 🤔 I'm curious 2 see how much lower it goes might end up doing some adjustable spring plates in the rear
Taking them off actually works well. If you were slammed I’d say to cut the metal stop holder off
@@bava67 idk how low I wanna go she still rides so nice!
Slam it!
Lol 😂 I still want a nice ride!
Are you driving her yet?
Been taking her out a bit more!
I don't think so.
Hmmm 🤔 what don't you think?
@@mileageunknown8910 I don't think I'll be getting low. I think things are going to stay mostly level.
