My town has no skatepark, so my friend and I have a ledge and flatbar we skate in a car park, but today, I finally started laying concrete on a DIY spot I found. We’re gonna keep it very low key because we don’t wanna lose it. Luckily it’s hidden on a dirt road near a forest. Definitely inspired by your and Sean’s videos
For the bricks you need a special hammer and a piece of rubber or even a Chun knife of wood to give the bricks a smack every time you lay one down into the glue. Couple smacks squeezes the gaps together to where they need to be. 🦾🇨🇦

That would have been a sick spot. One thing on the ledge, If you turn the bottom row of blocks 90° from the top (long ways) you end up with a much stronger ledge with less splitting at the joints.

Its a double sided ledge, kicker, and pool jam combo. basically a mini park...in one day! Keep killin it dude! I live in a community in the middle of the Arizona desert , I'm tryna find a sweet spot to set up a diy skate spot for everyone casue I've seen some kids skating and I wanna build a park so we all can come together and shred . just today I found cinder blocks that were laying around as trash cause hhomes are being build and scrap wood and lots of poles so I'm gonna take advantage of this and build as soon as I can when I find a good solid and big concrete slab

I hate cities that act like that! In a lot of places now you haven't made it as a citie until you have a skate park. North Alabama just got 2 new skate park and a 3rd in Huntsville being built right now. So that's 3 within an hour of each other. Also, these new skate parks are not discriminatory to bikes and or scooters. Which was so in the 80s &90s!
I felt pissed off in the end of the video. I know that feeling, happened to me a few times. Looks like the people who destroy it are even more stealth than people who build. Strange.
I don’t understand that there’s not enough skate parks around and people are making skateboarding almost illegal especially street skating because people don’t understand it but the thing that doesn’t make any sense is why are the city destroying a skate spot just because somebody built it they worked hard on that and the city just goes in destroys it it’s not like it’s on private property or on anything that’s being used it shouldn’t be there right to go and destroy some thing that is not theirs there should be a law about this
I city will wipe a whole spot clean and not do anything with the slab every except let it fall apart and nature take it over the only reason they are maintained is because of skaters.
No I wouldn’t just except things for how they are if I was you I would go to the city myself and put a complaint out on them and threaten to sue them then maybe they will stop destroying skate spots
