LPC Loon Cam ~ Pip To Hatch! 🐣 First Loon Chick Is Welcomed Into The World! 6.24.22

The first egg started to pip this morning and we have some good views of the little chick's eye looking out the hole in the eggshell ♥♥ Dad swims up to the nest and Mom takes a break.
After working hard all day, the loon chick is seen sitting in half of the eggshell around just after 7PM EST! LPC blog has said that even if the chick is sitting in half an eggshell it is still considered a hatch in their book so welcome to the world little one!! We can see the chick at 6:32 timestamp. Mom has been stingy giving us views of her new hatchling so far. Thank you for watching!
