Between 0:30 and 0:40, i can see a small diameter pipe, that intserts to the blue pipes T union, that comes out of the heating element. Is this small diameter pipe, the detergent pipe, from the detergent compartment? If so, that means the detergent is only used for cleaning the mop pads? Also means the base cannot mix detergent into the water that goes to the robot tank. That is, the robot tank onky gets filled with water. Correct?

Hi, the blue pipe is the detergent pipe. Your thinking is right. It can only clean the mop pads if you put the detergent in the detergent box. While you can also put the degergent in the clean water tank, so that it can clean the mop pads and the floor. You can have a look of the prochure in the packing box. Remember do not add hot water in the claen water tank.
