That slam that Luis got still had me. Him still alive for a few seconds is impressive. I can't imagine how much that slam hurt despite that hole in his chest that he got
I can imagine the frustration Luis was experiencing about his name. His last words to Leon should have been “It’s Luis, fucking Luis, Leon! Not Louis!” Then Leon proceeds to build Luis a grave with the name Louis carved into it…
And he says “You’re rough don’t you think?”. In an out of context scene, it would sound like flirting. If it doesn’t sound like flirting, I don’t know what does..
8:44 I just noticed . If you take a closer look at Leons left hand , it looks like he was wiping his face , hinting that he teared up a little for Luis...
6:34 I know a lot of people ignore this but this scene proves that Ashley can get serious , was willing to cooparate and help Luis find the medicine . Let me remind you that Ashley has great observation skills and can notice enemies from behind , even during gameplay . So maybe if Luis accepted her offer , then Ashley could have prevented him from dying .
@@siobibble9078 Yes he is a researcher . However he hints that he also tried to work as a policeman : " I thought I was bad " , " Nobody really appreciates you enough for it " . I know there is no solid proof but he sounded so genuine , that's what made him so mysterious .

@Miodotwav yup, Rino Romano voiced him in the PS1 game and Spider-Man Unlimited tv show. Not to mention, he was also Batman in the 2004 animated series
My favorite part is where they're chained up in the werhouse and they open up to each other. Wish it could've been longer. Leon's friendliness makes him very likable. Also Leon's smirk after Luis says ballistics 😏
According to Ada , Luis didn't trust the police . However in his last moments he said : " You have to get it back . " instead of " Someone has to get it back . " . He ended up trusting Leon more than Ada , someone that he suspected was a cop . It's quite poetic .
Considering all the crazy shit those 2 legs of his can do not only combat wise, but for out running boulders and out swimming lake monstrosities like Del Lago, then yeah, I would probably also feel overconfident enough with legs like those to kick a guy the size of Mendez head on, fully expecting him to die instantly.
It's so corny, I love it. But for real tho, I guess Leon was speaking for us, because I was upset to see Luis died, he was so cool and got wasted too soon.
Somehow I always thought of them as best friends I dunno they get along so well and stood for each other at hard times so yeah it's a short-lived friendship to me. I felt sad for him in the original, but not so much in the remake.
tbh in the world he lives in and at that time he didnt have any he was by himself for awhile with no one to depend on in serious situations you get attached easily
Not really, in fact, she had a thing for Leon not luis . She really seemed like she didn't see him as something for herself. The only reason she wanted to go with him was because she wanted therapy.
The Luis of the remake beats the one from the original both in personality and importance in the plot, in the original Luis only appeared 4 times and Leon barely interacted with him, and the reaction to his death was very exaggerated for someone who had barely seen and known a little. Ashley on the other hand didn't even react at all when she found out about Luis's death, there are Gameplays that show how she can walk past his corpse without saying anything. In the remake they changed that, now Luis has a better past that justifies why he ended up working for the Las Plagas cult, Luis has more Appearances and interactions with both Leon and Ada, and even ends up being more important to their stories, Luis He saves them both on several occasions and ends up being an essential character for Ada's redemption in the game. In the remake Ashley and Luis share a better friendship, with Luis constantly worrying about saving her, in the DLC he even cries for her and Leon, Ashley in the remake reacts sadly about Luis's death and does not ignore it.
@@Juario06it wasn't exaggerated Luis literally saved his life and Ashley's,he's the only reason they lived through that in the first place😂 He died to give them that drug that allowed them to go on a bit longer, before finally expelling the parasite from their bodies. What did Luis in the remake do again? Ah right,he died against Krauser for literally no reason. It made more sense for saddler to kill him because he's the one who arranged him and felt betrayed.
The comment I've been looking for. Same here I hated the new Luis since I saw him in the trailer even more when I played the remake his face is just irritating. even his personality is different. The old Luis used to be charismatic, sassy, and mysterious I just wished he lived longer.

Its actually pronounced as Lewis not Louis
@@Mats-tokenlisten to him introduce himself. He says Luis
In Leons defence Luis never corrected him , probably because he didn't mind .
I just realized Leon fell on top of Luis in that first scene after all these years. 19 years DAMN

"The big cheese!" "What?"
Of all the times I've played this game, I NEVER knew there was a cutscene for Luis killing Leon. That's crazy!
It happens when you shoot Luis multiple times and he gets angry at you. So he ends up killing you.

Luis's voice actor is Rino Romano. The voice of Spider-Man in the PS1 game.
Eduardo Rivera in Extreme Ghostbusters

Bruce Wayne/Batman in The Batman 2004 Cartoon.
