I never get tired of hearing Chuck Berry songs! He was one of the very greats! RIP Chuck. You sir are very much missed! I'm really hoping that you are making the heavenly host very happy with your music.
As a teenager back them Chuck Berry's guitar playing inspired me to take it up and at age 73 I still play his songs but no where near his skill level, but it is great fun.
I lived in Wentzville, Mo. This is where Chuck had a home. Every now and then he would come into the local theater there in Wentzville unannounced and play for us. What an absolute thrill!!!

@Thomas Anton before you call people bitches, you should know what the fuck you're talking about! When Elvis was still a backwoods hillbilly, he'd hang out at juke joints and watch the Black singers and musicians perform. One of the acts he admired was a man named Roy Hamilton . Go on RUclips, and check out Roy performing "Here Comes Love" . Are the vocals and movements a little familiar? That's right BITCH!!! EVERYTHING elvis knew about rock 'n' roll, he learned from studying black performers! And YES....CHUCK BERRY is the king. Elvis was a poser.
I never picked up a guitar on till i saw chuck on u tube four years ago and now i can play his famous riff on my guitar johnny be good RIP chuck u thoroughly are the king of rock and roll and no doubt that u took the world by storm as well so again RIP mister rock'n roll.
Chris: Tommy Chong (in one of the Cheech and Chong movies) "I learned the introduction to Johnny B. Goode, one note at a time. It took me 6 months." How long did it take you?
Mark Cianfarani No way! Elvis just made it so pretty white girls and boys could listen to rock and roll. Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Bo Diddly were the true kings. Thankfully my parents didn't care about race. If we liked a record we could buy it.
The Voyager spacecraft finally reaches an alien planet. They listen to the record on the spacecraft with music from the entire Earth. They communicate with NASA and offer advanced knowledge. NASA communicates back "what can we do for you?" They communicate back "Send more Chuck Berry"
Great Video! Loved all the dancers. Especially liked the dancing of the people in the African Villages. Chuck Berry was Unique & a very Gifted Guitarist.
Oh chuck keep doing the duck where ever you are. Chuck left so much for us to practice and listen to. sure lifts you up any day any hour any minute. Ill spend the rest of my life listening n remebering how great Chuck could do the duck, ,man, no worries he changed the world, we should all be proud and remeber that when we think of Berry. Like Elvis he did make the world a better place because they changed the music, and thats is more than enough. We own them to keep listening and make their tunes ring out through night and day:) Thats is the best we can do, I beleieve what u did here with this video is just one of those good things!

@@cantalope67 All love and respect to little Richard. But Elvis, recorded That's Alright Mama in 1954, and Berry recorded Maybelline in 1955. Little Richard first records Tutti Frutti and Long Tall Sally came out in 1957. Elvis and Berry were already established stars.
@@edwchase who said anything about that. I just said Little Richard had a huge effect on rock and roll. Not too many people that know that more about the fifties rock and roll to me and I don't mean to brag. Chuck Berry had only one number one song and that was of all songs My Ding-a-Ling. But all the good rock and roll came out a little studio called Sun Records in Memphis Tennessee. Elvis got his start when he went in there to make a song for his mother on Mother's Day and the rest is history. I could go on and on but I'm not going to. My dad was an engineer at a rock and roll station back in the 50s and it was great times for me for music. Thank you for your comment Merry Christmas
@@cantalope67 Hey Merry Christmas to you as well. Please don't misinturpret my comment. I love LR and I recognize his contribution. He was a pioneer, and his influence along with Buddy Holly, Fats Domino and a few others is still felt today. My point was (although poorly stated) was that i do not beleive he was on the same level of influence as Elvis and Berry. I also study and know my music history; though i can not claim the pedigree of a DJ father (how cool is that).
@@edwchase I guess you misunderstood me my father wasn't a DJ he was a he was an electrical engineer for a station called KJR in Seattle. KJR was the first station to play a Beatles song in the United States. There is something I always want to do Elvis Presley had a twin brother that died at Birth. I think his name was Clint and I always wondered what he would have sounded like if he's sang. It was cool to have a father work for a rock and roll station. I had one of the best collection of 45 records anywhere. I wish I had them now. Great times though. Cheap gas cheap food cars that had personalities and of course the best music. How the world is the way it is is now I don't know. I'm going to go sometimes I talk too much nice chatting with you. Oh yeah my very favorite movie is American Graffiti
