    Someday is one of the greatest compositions in music history.

  • @MusicMatic707

    George Duke does not get the credit he deserves... He is a beast on the Mini-Moog, and is in the ranks with Bernie Worrell and Rick Wakeman... Disagree if you want, but inside you know I speak the truth...

      What informed fool would disagree with that?

      @matthewlinley8438 7 лет назад +8

      you would have to be a complete and utter idiot to disagree with that comment, however can we add Jan Hammer onto the list of Minimoog kings

    • @thebreathalyzer
      @thebreathalyzer 7 лет назад +11

      They are all wonderful and unique players. I'm a huge fan of Jan Hammer's work on the Moog and Chick Corea when he played it also. George Duke was such a deep and amazing musician, as well as highly entertaining. Love all those guys. George was always about the groove and the melody. He had ridiculous technique, but it was always made it about the melody and connecting with the audience. I will love George Duke
      always.

    If I here another person say "oh you can't get the expression on a synth, like you can with a 'real' instrument" I will push their nose up against this screen, and say "Listen, you fool, LISTEN!!!!"
    George made that Moog cry!

      Dig that!! What that heck what the Minimoog patch?!?

    • @bruceheigh6464
      @bruceheigh6464 7 лет назад +21

      The patch to the left of the Rhodes keyboard is a in/out send for preamps on the Rhodes. That Fender had custom tynes and hammers built in Hollywood. The Mini Moog and Arp Odyssey were given to him by Frank Zappa. To the left is a Oberheim modular system. All key inputs went into a Yamaha PM1000 mixer. Ah the days of anolog.
